Dabi couldn't keep his eyes open. His head had been throbbing for the past two days, and he couldn't even remember the last time he had slept. Hawks was away on another mission, which meant that Dabi was running around, trying to take care of all three of their children alone. The twins seemed to take turns crying through the night. Just as he made it back to his bed after getting one of them to sleep, the other started crying before he even had the chance to lay his head down on his pillow.

Shinji had decided that he would not sleep in his own bed, and that he instead had to be wrapped around Dabi's neck while he slept. Every time Dabi had to get out of bed, Shinji would wake up just enough to keep himself wrapped around Dabi's neck, so that he would have to carry him down the hallway with him.

Not looking where he was going, as he filled up what felt like the hundredth bottle of formula that day, Dabi ran straight into the counter, falling down to the floor. He let out a groan as the bottle broke open, pouring the entire contents over himself.

"Daddy!" Shinji yelled, half running, half flying across the room towards Dabi, "Why you fall over? No fall. You tired."

"I'm ok," Dabi muttered, barely even registering what had just happened, other than the fact that he would have to make yet another bottle.

"You sleep. Now." Shinji stomped his foot on the tile, tugging on Dabi's arm. "You t oo tired."

Dabi pushed himself up off the floor, reaching for another bottle on autopilot, "I'm fine Dove."

Shinji balled his hands into fists, pushing on Dabi's leg as hard as he could, trying to get him to move. "Bedtime! Now."

"I can't go to bed," Dabi muttered, trying to force his eyes to stay open, "I have to feed the babies, and then make dinner, and then feed the babies, and then get you in the bath, and then feed the babies."

"Nap time," Shinji scolded, still trying to push on Dabi's leg, "You do that after nap."

"Dove, I can't," Dabi mumbled, leaning against the counter as another wave of exhaustion flooded over him. He leaned down over the counter resting his chin on his hand as his eyes slid closed. "I can sleep later."

"No Daddy," Shinji grabbed Dabi's free hand, pulling him from the counter. Dabi followed Shinji, too tired to fight him on it. Shinji dragged him to his bedroom, pushing him into the bed. "Sleep time."

Shinji struggled as he tried to climb up the bed, beating his wings as hard as he could. He pulled the blanket over Dabi and gave him a quick kiss on the forehead. He quickly climbed down, as Dabi whispered, "Just fifteen minutes."

"Otay Daddy! Sleep time," Shinji closed the door behind him before Dabi could say anything else. He nodded his head, determined to help his dad out as much as he could, while he got the chance to sleep.

Shinji ran back to the kitchen where Dabi had prepared the bottle. Reaching on his tiptoes to grab it from the counter, he smiled proud of himself. He shook the bottle running up to the fussy baby. Setting the bottle on the floor next to his feet, as he reached into the bassinet, holding the baby in his arms. As he fed the baby, he thought to himself just how easy it was for him to help his daddy with the babies.

Hawks' eyes went wide as he walked in the front door. Shinji was curled up in a ball, his hands covering his ears as he shouted at the babies to shut up. The twins were both screaming, one of them laying on the floor in front of Shinji, while the other was in her bassinet. Hawks rushed to them, immediately trying to figure out what had happened, while simultaneously trying to calm down all three of the children.
