At some point in the night, Dabi had managed to crawl into bed, clinging onto Hawks in his sleep. The sound of Hawks breathing woke Dabi from his sleep, as his head pounded. He groaned pushing Hawks away from him. "Stop breathing."

"What?" Hawks muttered, rolling over in his sleep.

"You're too loud," Dabi groaned, "stop breathing."

"You want me to stop breathing," Hawks pushed himself up onto his forearms and turned his head to Dabi.

"Yes, every breath you take is basically you hitting me in the head with a hammer," Dabi pulled the pillow over his head, trying to block out the sound, "So stop."

"You know Touya," Hawks sighed, "I'm  not the one who decided to down an entire bottle of Scotch last night, so don't go blaming me for breathing."

"You're talking is making it worse," Dabi groaned, "Just go. Do anything else but being here right now. I love you but get the fuck away from me."

Hawks pushed himself up out of bed, "I don't know what's worse Todoroki. You when you're drunk, or you when you're hung over." Hawks didn't wait for a response as he left the room.

Dabi made sure to flip Hawks off before burying himself deeper into the blankets and pillows, trying to make all the light and sound go away.

Hawks sighed as he closed the door behind him, he was irritated with Dabi because of his behavior the night before, but he was more worried about the vasectomy. It wasn't that he was against the idea, but why had Dabi made the appointment without even telling him?

He was pulled out of his thoughts as a half asleep Shinji wandered out of his bedroom and walked straight into Hawks. Shinji's eyes were half closed as he sat down on the floor, "I sorry Daddy, I didn't see you there."

"It's ok buddy," Hawks smiled, "Where you going?"

"I wanted to sleep in your bed," Shinji rubbed the sleep from his eyes, and let out a yawn.

"Buddy, Daddy Dabi isn't feeling so good right now," Hawks knelt down in front of Shinji, "besides it's morning, how 'bout we get you something to eat instead?"

"Otay," Shinji leaned into Hawks, letting him pick him up and carry him to the table. "Daddy Hawks, Do you know how to cook?"

Hawks stopped dead in his tracks, the color drained from his face. "I can learn?"

"No," Shinji crossed his arms over his chest, "Make Daddy Dabi cook."

"Buddy, Daddy isn't feeling well," Hawks sighed, "If you were sick you would just want to stay in bed, wouldn't you?"

Shinji nodded, "so we no eat?"

"Shinji, I promise you, We will eat," Hawks pulled out his phone, "I just won't be the one cooking."

"Daddy gonna be mad," Shinji jumped up on his chair, "He no like when you eat from your phone."

"It won't hurt this one time," Hawks chuckled, "Besides Daddy's in trouble, he can't be mad at me."

Shinji's jaw dropped to the floor, "Daddy's in trouble. Oh no."

Hawks nodded as he shuffled to the coffee maker, "He's in a lot of trouble."

"If he's in trouble," Shinji gasped, "You gotta save him."

Hawks chuckled, "Buddy, he's not in that kind of trouble. You know when you don't pick up your toys, and then you get in trouble with daddies? He's in that kind of trouble."

"Daddy's gonna have to be time out huh?" Shinji shook his head, "Silly Daddy."

The bedroom door slowly swung open, crawling across the floor was a figure hidden under a blanket covered in stars. Almost painfully slow, the bundle of blankets crawled out into the living room. Shinji giggled as he ran up and jumped onto the blankets.
