A PAIR OF HANDS snaked their way inside the girl's basket, sending a quick smile to the latter as she took the flowers. Haeyul nodded her head, thanking her and pushed passed a few maids, her hand cradled a woven basket as her eyes glanced up in the sky. A ringing wind blow through her hair, telling her an imminent storm is brewing.

"Haeyul!" A feminine voice reached her ears causing her to look back. A girl with red ginger hair breathed harshly as she balanced her breathing. "Let me help you." She told.
"I'm only going to pick flowers."
"But you'll be needing dozens of it. It will take you too long." She retorted.

Haeyul laughed at the girl, "Alright, but don't tell anyone that I forced you to." She deadpanned.

"I wouldn't dare." The ginger cheekily said.
The brunette shook her head at the girl, Elena, she's a friend she recently made when she was caught doing laundry alone at the river side. Elena ended up helping her and while the two of them were washing the clothes, conversations came really easily resulting a new friendship to be formed in the open river.

The two walked out of the backdoor and made their way down to the ground. Elena observed the hazy sky, "Do you think we will finish in time?" She asked.

Haeyul shrugged. "I don't know, but we need to get all of the flowers today." Elena groaned and nodded as the two climbed up a small hill. A colorful flower field came into Haeyul's peripheral vision. "There it is." Haeyul entered the field and crouched down, picking flowers for the nth time today.

Elena, who was following Haeyul closely, drew her brows together as she looked around the area. "It's pretty, isn't it?" Haeyul grinned widely.
"Yeah.."

"Come on, start collecting the flowers," Haeyul told, "we don't have much time." She reminded Elena of the weather, and the latter did exactly what she told. The ginger-haired girl moved at a slow paced as her attention was elsewhere, but Haeyul didn't pay any attention to it.

While Haeyul carefully added another flower into the basket, she saw Elena tensed up, jumping up to her feet. The brunette faced Elena with concern as she stood up too. "What's wrong?"

Without answering the question, Elena began walking towards a specific spot, her steps were cautious and silent which made Haeyul more confused. She watched cluelessly as Elena suddenly shrieked, letting go of the basket in her hands.

Alarmed, Haeyul ran next to the frightened girl and searched the surrounding. To her surprise, nothing was there. Elena clasped Haeyul's hands, pulling the girl back. "We need to go back." She murmured.

"What?" Haeyul asked, Elena's voice was too small for her to hear.

"Haeyul we must go back! Now!" Before she knew it, Haeyul had her feet dragged out of the field without her basket of flowers. She wanted to protest and go back but recalling the terrified expression Elena made, told her not to.
