AFTER THEY ARRIVED the castle, all of them split up to their own activities—most of it being their tasks they couldn't do while they were away. Haeyul was currently accompanied by her two friends, Eve and Elena, in the dining hall. They were chattering away while they prepared the table for lunch.

Elena's face has gone pink as she laughed for the nth time today. Eve grimaced as her arm was hit multiple times by the latter. "Lena, can you stop hitting me?"

Unable to hear the protest, Elena proceeded laughing her hearts out. Haeyul smiled, "She's certainly happy today."
"I wonder why."

The door swung open causing all three of them to fix their posture, heads quirking to the side to see the person- or people. It was none other than Prince Jay and Niki. They strutted their way to where they stood as Eve cleared her throat.
"Good afternoon, Your Majesties."
All three of them bowed.

"Good afternoon." Jay responded as his eyes observed the food platter on the table. His brows quirked up as his eyes landed on a specific dish Haeyul had made.

"Who made this?" He pointed at the dish.
Upon hearing his question, Eve and Elena panicked while Haeyul raised her hand. "I did. Why, Your Majesty?"

Jay glanced at the brunette, a smile itching on his lips with the formality of her question. "Can you explain the dish?" He inquired as his face turned cold again.
"It's called a flan. It is a type of pudding made with eggs, milk and sugar and it's topped with caramel sugar." Haeyul explained.

"Personally, I love this pudding. One of my favorites actually." The girl continued with a wide smile. Satisfied with her explanation, the prince nodded his head, his gaze never leaving the dessert.

Prince Niki prodded his brother on his arms in attempt to divert his attention. To his delight, Jay began walking away as Niki striker a conversation with him.

"Isn't he just...perfect?" Elena fanned herself as blood rushed up to her fair cheeks.
"Who?"
"Who else? Of course Prince Jay!" The ginger softly exclaimed while Eve merely scoffed in response.

"I think Prince Sunghoon is better." She murmured as she set the ceramic plates down. Elena gasped, "Excuse you?!"
"Prince Jay can do everything."
"So can Prince Sunghoon."
"Prince Sunghoon can't cook!"
"Prince Jay can't twirl in the air!"

The two of them huffed and faced the brunette, who was occupied with the cutleries. Haeyul stared at them with a blank face, blinking her eyes as she asked, "What?"

"Who is your favorite prince?" Eve questioned. Although her face was still, her voice said otherwise. If she was to be honest, she felt slightly threatened by the two girls as their eyes bore into her soul.

"Uh..." Haeyul awkwardly glanced to her side as she searched for anything that could help her but Elena moved closer towards her, eyes sparkling with expectations.

"I think Prince Niki is great." She answered.

Both her friends groaned upon hearing her answer. "I'm telling you, Prince Jay is the be-"
"Excuse me."
A familiar voice penetrated their conversation and Haeyul's eyes widened. It was Jungwon. Without seeing the owner of the voice, she could already indenting who it is.

Elena squeaked and quickly bowed, followed by Eve. "We apologize, Your Highness!"

Elena grabbed the blonde's hand and ushered her outside the dining hall, abandoning Haeyul to fend for herself.

Prince Jungwon stared at the brunette before she cleared her throat, tearing her eyes away from him as embarrassment rushed through her veins. Why does he have to appear now out of all times?

Did he hear the conversation?
"So, Niki is your favorite?"
Yep, he most definitely heard their conversation. Haeyul was about to open her mouth to respond until she heard his next remark.

"Even after the kiss we shared?" Jungwon looked at her with a glint of mischief in his eyes while Haeyul's jaw dropped open, she frantically glanced around the room—afraid someone may have heard him.

"Have you gone mad?!" Haeyul spoke in a hush voice, brown knitted together, "Someone could've heard you!" She hit his shoulder which to he only smiled at.

Jungwon shrugged. "Let them hear," He grinned, "the faster the news travel, the faster I'll be able to call you mine." His voice travelled into her ears causing spark to erupt in her stomach.
"Why- what happened to you?" Haeyul asked.

She was left unanswered as the six princes entered the room. Haeyul sighed and sent a warning glare to the prince in front of her before moving away, joining the other maids.

The raven-haired prince chuckled under his breath as his eyes followed the girl.
"Jungwon, come sit with us." Sunoo called out, "The lunch won't start until you lift your spoon up." He whined.

His brothers laughed at their younger brother, finding him adorable. Jungwon quickly sat down and grasped his glass, sipping the red liquid down his throat. Everyone in the room began eating as Sunoo happily danced in his seat when he took his first bite.

Jungwon paused as he recalled Niki's words from a while back. He wanted to spend time with his older brothers again like how they did when he was young.
One of them was eating together while having fun.

The prince cleared his throat, "So, did you have fun while we were away?" Jungwon inquired as he stared at both Niki and Jay.
