A LOW GRUMBLE emitted from the brunette's mouth as she stood next to her friend, who peered at her with concern glazing her eyes. Haeyul callously tightened the apron on her waist. Elena arms reached for her but retreated immediately as she hesitated to approach the latter. For the whole evening, Haeyul has been in an unpleasant mood, grumbling in the hallways and sending wicked death stares to everyone she meets.

Some of the maids had attempted to start a friendly conversation with the girl but to their surprise, Haeyul only replied meekly. Her odd behavior resulted many to avoid interacting with her while she was in her current state.

"Haeyul," Elena whispered as she leaned to her side, "I think we might need to refill their drinks soon." Haeyul nodded and head over to the table, excusing her intrusion and grasped the glass jug.

Prince Sunoo smiled and thanked her, sipping on the thick maroon liquid. The brunette continued to refill everyone's drinks until it was Princess Aene's turn. A wave of annoyance flooded in Haeyul as she saw the princess's face. She carefully poured the blood into her glass, hoping this time she won't point out her flaws.

As she placed the jug back to its place, she let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness Princess Aene was too busy conversing with Jungwon to notice her presence.

Haeyul walked back to her position. "Haeyul...are you perhaps having your menstruation cycle?"

One of the maids asked her in a hushed voice. Haeyul frowned. "Why do you ask?" She asked. The maid grinned awkwardly, "You seem to be in a bad mood and well, we assumed you are experiencing it." She told.

Haeyul blinked her eyes and shook her head. "Nope," She cracked a smile, "I'm just not in a good mood." She told and the maid hum, acknowledging her answer. Meanwhile, Haeyul knew everyone was on edge because of her behavior, but she herself doesn't know why she was in such a bad mood. Yes, Princess Aene's constant nagging ticked her off but not to the point for her to be this upset.

She brushed it off and presumed it was just one of her bad days.
Her eyes wandered off to the black velvet sky outside, wondering when will the dinner end as her stomach complained in hunger. Haeyul hadn't got a chance to eat since early dawn. It was a hectic day for her, from having to escort Princess Aene to her sleeping chamber, to having Jungwon accompany her to go to the field. She didn't have any time for herself at all.

Haeyul huffed out a heavy sigh.

She wished she had her favorite candy with her, but to her dismay that was only available in her timeline.

The brunette saw Prince Jungwon stood up from his seat, followed by others, indicating the dinner was over. She gladly rushed over to the dining table and began garnering the empty plates. Elena wasn't far behind her as she quickly reached the table and mimicked Haeyul's actions.

A smile slowly grew on the human's face as she saw the plates disappearing from the table one by one. She was one step away from having her dinner, finally. When she walked towards the door, a tall figure slid beside her, gaining her attention.
