"Come on, Mabel." That morning, Dipper and Mabel were trotting through the forest, with Dipper running ahead of her.

"I'm coming, Dipper!" Mabel said and pouted as she followed her brother, she was wearing a different sweater today, which  was white, with three purple stars.

"Well, we can't keep Bella waiting," Dipper told her as he ran faster. "I told her we'd teach her more about the world. It's bad enough that she knows what happened to her dad."

"I get her pain, but is she really no threat?" Mabel questioned. "I mean, she's Bill's daughter. She has his powers. She knows her dad is dead. And she's angry at Grunkle Stan and Grunkle Ford."

"Just because she's Bill's daughter doesn't mean she's bad," Dipper explained to her. "She's friends with Twilight, and she's not even on board doing bad things. If she was, she'd be after us already."

"So, where is she anyway?" Mabel questioned.

Dipper was about to answer when a voice spoke up. "I'm here."

They both saw Bella. The yellow triangle, with same black bow, glancing at them with her one cat-like eye. The twins noticed that she was also wearing a light purple sweater with a blue peace sign.

"Bella, you're here," Dipper said, surprised from her sudden appearance.

"Yeah, well, you said you and your sister were gonna help learn me about this world," Bella told him. "So, of course, I'd be here."

"Well, Bella, this is my sister, Mabel," Dipper began the introduction. "Mabel, this is Bella."

The two stared at each other down. "So, you're  the demon that was in my brother's dream?" Mabel asked. Bella nodded in response.

"Well, no wonder you're Bill's daughter," Mabel said,  looking at Bella from up to down. "You look exactly like him."

Bella nervously chuckled. "Yeah, I used to get that a lot from my dad's friends."

There was silence between the two.  At first, Dipper thought something could go wrong. When Mabel spoke again. "Nice sweater," she complimented.

"Oh, thanks," Bella said, liking her compliment. "I made it myself."

"You knit sweaters?" Mabel asked. Bella slowly nodded, and Mabel smiled. "So do I!"

"Really?" Bella asked.

"All the time," Mabel answered before asking. "So, this is your first time in our dimension?"

"Yeah, and now that I'm here, there's so many things I want to learn, like that bright, round ball of light people call the sun," Bella said, pointing her finger up at the bright, shining sun.

"There's no sun where you come from?" Mabel asked with surprise.

"I've been raised in the mindscape for about 50 years, trapped in a dimension separated from my dad for 63 more years, then stayed in the mindscape for six months, haven't seen the sun until I got here, in the physical world, a few days ago," Bella explained.

"That's terrible," Mabel said, sympathetic. "You were separated from your dad?"

"Yeah, and I'm still upset about his death, but I can't wait to learn more about this new world," she said, at first with a sad tone, then with bright hope. "I have so many questions about the sun. Like, why is it hot? Why is it only there during the day? Why do people rely on it so much?"

"There's not just the sun to learn about," Mabel told Bella. "There's a whole bunch of stuff here in Gravity Falls you haven't tried."

"Like what?" Bella asked.
