"Tessa...?"
Everyone was staring shocked at the mysterious creature. The one that mysteriously had the same voice as Tessa. The creature chuckled.
"Oh, Bella, it is me, but much more powerful," the creature grinned.
"I tried to stop her..." Wendy said, her voice hoarse from her tough battle with the creature, Tessa. She broke into a coughing fit as Tessa began walking in their direction, probably headed to the exit.
"Tessa? What are you doing?" Bella asked with a terrified look in her eye. "What did you mean when you said Cassandra was gonna become the prey?"
"What do you think it means?" Tessa said as she narrowed her eyes. "I'm gonna teach her a valuable lesson. She's gonna see who's laughing when she's the one burning in the flames."
"You.... you're gonna kill her?" Bella said, now even more terrified.
"Bingo," Tessa grinned, and continued walking, but Rapunzel blocked her path.
"Tessa, listen," she started. "I know you're angry at Cassandra for attacking you so much, but murdering her isn't gonna solve anything."
"For your own information, I'm actually doing the Deciphers and everyone in this world a favor," Tessa growled. "Cassandra have been on a rampage. She's unpredictable, the Deciphers become stressed because they don't know when or where or who she is attacking, and for five days, she used me as her personal punching bag!"
Bella felt a part of herself crack inside. Tessa was mentally broken, but she had a point. The Deciphers were formed to protect people from Cassandra, but they had flaws. They couldn't know when, where, or who Cassandra is attacking.
"Tessa, I'm really sorry," Bella apologized. "If I knew sooner, me and the Deciphers would've came and protected you. But ever since Copper 9, you knew about us and what we would've done if anyone was in danger. Why didn't you tell us?"
"Cassandra made it clear after she attacked me five days ago, that you were to interfere, we'd all endure the consequences," Tessa said in a low voice, facing Bella again. "But now, I've had enough. And I'm gonna finish what she started."
With that, she took off, and she was about to go through the exit. However, Rapunzel unbraided her hair and wrapped it around Tessa, stopping her in her tracks.
"Tessa, listen," Rapunzel started. "I know you're angry at Cassandra. But she isn't as bad as you think. Just give her a chance, we can-"
"Give HER a chance? I don't think so!" Tessa screamed out angrily before harvesting white energy that spread throughout her entire body. The energy exploded, hitting everything except for Bella.
Everyone, including Rapunzel, fell to the ground unconscious, and Tessa was freed. She began to run into the exit, and Bella quickly got to her senses and followed her. "Tessa, wait!"
Tessa ignored the demon and continued running. This was her chance for revenge. Cassandra tortured her for too long. She used her like a punching bag. Walked over her like a doormat. This was Tessa's chance to reach Cassandra a lesson, and she wasn't gonna let anyone get in her way.
"Tessa!" Bella teleported in front of Tessa, making the girl slid to a stop as she stood in front of the demon.
"This has to stop now
Whatever it is that you're going through, we'll fix it together, me and you
Like we've always done"
Tessa, desperate for her revenge and tired of Bella and her friends' attempts to change her mind, joined into the musical number.
