Meanwhile, Loona sat in the back seat of the taxi she took. She was unsure about her decision. This afternoon, her friend and former crush, a cool and laid back hellhound named Vortex, had invited her to a party thrown by his girlfriend.

Her thoughts were interrupted when her phone began ringing, and she saw it was her adoptive father, Blitzo, trying to call her. Narrowing her eyes, Loona ignored it.

"You want me to drop you off here?" The taxi driver asked, getting Loona's attention.

"Oh, uh, yeah," the hellhound replied. "Yeah, this looks right. I, uh, haven't been here before."

Loona opened the door and stepped out. Loona took a look at her destination as the taxi driver drove off. As music played, Loona looked around, seeing many demons, such as imps and mostly other hellhounds, walking, conversing with one and another and enjoying themselves.

Loona pulled out her phone and began to text Vortex. "I'm her."

"Oh shit," Loona texted again as she realized her mistake and went to correct herself. "Here, srry."

Loona looked nervous, as she put her phone away, and began fixing her hair up a bit. That was when she heard a familiar voice call out her name. "Loonaa!"

Loona looked to see Vortex, a bigger hellhound with light and dark gray fur, red eyes with silver pupils, one of them a white blind eye with a scar over it.

"Hey, girl, glad you could make it," Vortex said as Loona walked over to him.

"Tex," Look exclaimed as they both started walking into the building where the party is taking place. "Yeah, thanks for inviting me."

"Course, course," Vortex enthusiastically before he called out to some hellhounds sitting in some seats in front of them. "Hey, everyone, meet the new face!"

He then let out a loud howl, in which the hellhounds did in response, howling loud and clear.

"You want a drink or anything?" Vortex asked as he turned back to Loona.

"Uh...sure," Loona answered nervously as she smiled. "Totally."

As Vortex walked off to fetch Loona something, Loona noticed some nearby hellhounds she was familiar with, conversing with one another. One of them was a poodle, another a dalmatian, and the last was different breed of dog.

"And so I told him,  'I'm not gonna go get it, unless you fucking throw it this time's," the poodle said.

"That is so not fetch," the dalmatian commented.

"Not fetch," the poodle chuckled. That was much to their surprise, Loona suddenly joined into the conversation, laughing.

"Yeah, like that happens all the time," Loona stopped laughing as they narrowed their eyes at her, glaring.

"OMG, Loona?" The poodle said, still surprised. "Lunatic Loona? That you?"

"Uh yeah," Loona answered before correcting. "It's Loona, yeah."

"Wow, I can't believe you're showing up to another party," the poodle said in disbelief. "I mean, do you remember what happened to the last one?"

Loona gritted her teeth, but tried to maintain her composure. "I'm sure you'll remind me."

"Yeah, this?" The poodle took out her phone and showed a picture of Loona vomiting. "This you, right?"

Loona growled. "Why do you still have that?"

"It brings me joy," the poodle answered. "You know you're supposed to keep things that bring you joy."

This only caused Loona to growl a bit louder, clearly becoming angry at the poodle's mockery. However, the poodle took notice and acted oblivious. "Wow, you're being really negative. Your aura is being really aggressive right now."
