There were some pretty strange things going on. Prom night wasn't exactly what Bella expected. V had escaped, Doll went crazy, and Uzi's absolute solver was more than just a symbol.

While everyone went home, Bella  kept V in her home, locked up in the bunker underneath her house.

It honestly pained Bella to keep V prisoner like that. Chained with her supernatural, unbreakable chains. Bella wanted to keep people safe, knowing that once V was freed, she would go after the worker drones and attempt to kill them.

Bella knew she needed to find some way to protect the drones from V. But she felt it was really wrong to keep locking V up.

The next morning, Bella decided there was some work that needed to be done. There was Tessa they had to worry about, Doll had disappeared, doing who knows what, and there was Uzi's solver powers.

Bella making some breakfast to give V.  She was in her room, cooking up some pancakes and adding some bacon to go with it.

That was when she heard a knock on her door. Setting the plate down on the table by her bed, Bella floated over and opened the door.

Much to her surprise, she saw Ruby there. "Oh, I didn't expect you to come so early,"  Bella said. "Usually we hold meetings in the afternoon, though we do hold them pretty early if there's a really really big emergency."

"Oh, I'm actually here because I wanted to ask you something," Ruby said.

"Oh, well, what is it?" Bella asked, lightening up a bit.

"You see, last night, I came back to prom since I never got to dance with Thad," Ruby explained. "So, Thad's my boyfriend now. Anyways, since we're the Deciphers and we're always so busy, and we don't have time to spend with our friends and families, I was hoping that...well, maybe Thad could be a new recruit."

"Oh, well, of course he can," Bella told Ruby. "Anyone can be part of the Deciphers. You know what Ralphie always says. Anyone can be worthy."

"Oh, wow, thanks Bella," Ruby smiled.

"So, how's your sister doing at home?" Bella asked. "Have any of her absolute solver powers been acting up?"

"Yeah, a lot," Ruby said. "They're going a little out of control. Dad is really shocked by this kind of thing. Uzi had been using her powers a bit randomly. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't.  It's like they have an off switch that controls by itself.

"Reminds me way back when I was a little girl," Bella said as she remembered her days when she was quite young. "Back then I had no control over my powers. It took me a long time to master them, and look at me now. It's a good thing I had such a great teacher."

"Well, I know you're probably not an absolute solver expert, but since the Axolotl has already taught you how to master your powers, maybe you can help Uzi out," Ruby suggested.

"Sure," Bella said. "I do have a good feeling that your sister's powers might be very helpful to us."

"Well, given how tough Doll was, you have a good point," Ruby said before asking. "Though, how is V?"

"I still have her locked up," Bella explained. "However, I feel like what I'm doing is very wrong. It's like...caging up an innocent animal."

"When you say it like that, it does sound wrong," Ruby said, frowning a bit. "But I don't know if there's anything we can do. Killing her isn't an option, and we can't let her roam free."

"Well... I do have one option," Bella said, causing Ruby to look at her in confusion. "You see, Dissembly Drones were programmed to kill worker drones, yet N was really kind and sweet, and he stopped killing others when he met you and your sister. If N could be good and help worker drones, then maybe V could."
