It was supposed to be a good day. One of the days where nothing would go wrong. He wished it stayed like that. Fantoccio was in a really good mood this morning.
He was happily awaiting the arrival of his sweet Bella Cipher. He knew today was the day. He waited. He was gonna meet the demon here. The thrill of being in her presence satisfied him.
He had so many things planned today. Now that Bella announced that herself and her entire team were gonna take a long break, nothing could stand in his way. Not the villains or even that murder investigation he's been hearing about.
The costumes were ready. The angel outfit, and the demon outfit. They were both for a play Bella had suggested. The love story between a demon and an angel.
Usually in those stories, it was a female angel and a male demon. But for this play it was the other way around.
Fantoccio was gonna be the angel. He made the makeshift halo and the pair of wings, not to mention the fancy looking suit that was in light blue and yellow colors. He was even gonna paint himself white to further fit the role he was in.
Bella wasn't gonna look any different in her costume, since she WAS a demon to be honest. All she was gonna wear with a beautiful black and red dress, a pair of black earrings, and a large black and red bow with longer ribbons. She was even equipped with a cane.
Fantoccio loved this idea. The romance between a male angel and a female demon. One was an powerful overlord, and while she was fearsome and seemed somewhat cruel in the eyes of demons, she had a heart of gold inside.
The other was a gentle and sweet creature. Where he was originally supposed to monitor Hell for the threats of an uprising, only to be caught by the overlord.
The rocky relationship turns into one of love, as she offers a deal in exchange for her silence. Which is for the angel to watch over the souls she had claimed.
He loved the idea so much. There was so much plot, heart and soul into this prompt. It was surely gonna get the audience into a roaring blaze. He planned for them to practice the play together this afternoon.
The costumes laid on their respective hangars behind the stage. He wanted to wait for the demon to get here before they tried them on.
Bella planned to arrive in the afternoon, so he only had a few hours left. So, the puppet technically had some time left to look over scripts and practice his lines.
Fantoccio always loved Bella for her interest in the same subject. Theater. She always enjoyed watching plays, and knew just how they worked. So, as soon as she pitched the new play idea, she also made the scripts with it.
There were never enough ways in which Bella could surprise him. The demon always had a trick up her sleeve. That was why Fantoccio, along with everyone that knew her, knows that you shouldn't exactly underestimate her.
After feeding his pet shark, Sharkspeare, who happily wagged his tail at him and made happy noises, Fantoccio went back to reading his scripts.
However, just as he was practicing his lines, he heard the sudden sound of the two entrance doors being slammed open.
It was so sudden, he dropped all the script papers in shock, which scattered on the floor all around him. He let out a growl in frustration. That couldn't be Bella. The demon was more polite than that, even if she was in her excited moments.
Annoyed, the puppet took off into the sky and looked down at the entrance to see who had barged into his theater, only to freeze once he saw who it was.
It looked like Bella, but he knew deep down it wasn't her. It was another dream demon, yellow and shaped like a triangle, but was male. He wear a black top hat and a bowtie.
