"Yep, that was wild."

Bella was flying home that day. After the concert was over, Verosika and her posse decided to bid their farewells for Bella in their own way. This was pretty much why the demon had black kiss marks all over her, and she was heading home, hoping that no one that was madly in love with her was around to see the black lipstick on her body.

She hoped that at least her dad wasn't around or was just waiting for her at her house. She could've changed into a different form, but it wouldn't get rid of the kiss marks she had on her.

Luckily, she managed to get to the door of her house without getting noticed. She let out a breath of relief, and opened the door. No one else was home right now.

Sheriff Toadster was busy visiting Autumn Blaze, who he had grown to be very fond of, Fern went to a sleepover with Mabel, Candy, and Grenda, and Bittergiggle and the Cherubs went on a trip to Equestria to visit the monsters from the Garten of Banban that were currently living there.

Bella opened the door and shut it behind her, and sighed in relief. "Okay, Verosika's concert, checked out," the demon pulled out her schedule chart crossed out one of the plans for the week. "Now I have to wash all these kiss marks off my face and get ready for Dutch's party."

The demon eagerly skips over to the elevator, and pushes a button. As the doors close and the elevator begins lifting her to her destinated floor, her phone begins ringing.

"Hello?" Bella answers once she picked up her phone and places to where her ears would be. "This is Bella Cipher speaking."

"Bella, this is your dad," Bella recognizes the voice and her blood freezes cold. Bella remains silent and frozen for a moment until she hears her dad's voice again. "You there, sweetie?"

"Yep, Dad, I'm here," Bella squeaked out, as sweat poured down her skin. "Any particular reason you decided to call?"

"It's about Deveshiche,"  he explained. "That elite demon that briefly crashed your party. When was the last time you saw him?"

"Dad, if I have to be honest, I haven't seen him since that the whole Fourth of July party," Bella told him. "Why did you want to know about him anyway?"

"Because regardless of whether you've seen him or not, I don't want you associating with him," Bella heard Bill say in a rather stern tone. "Don't look at him. Don't talk to him. Don't approach him. Don't do what he tells you to do, even if he asks nicely. STAY AWAY FROM HIM."

"Okay....." Bella didn't know what was going on, but one thing she knew she had to obey her dad's orders, at least this time. After all, she knew that the way her dad told her to stay away from Deveshiche, it was more in a manner of overprotection.

"I'm serious, missy," Bill Cipher told her, before adding as his tone became more calm. "But that's not what I wanted to talk about. I want you to come over to Cassandra's tower. I want to discuss something privately."

Bella's blood freezes again. Deep down she doesn't want to go to Cass's tower. Something told her that whatever her dad wanted to discuss with her, it was something bad.

"Um, I don't want you to get mad, but I can't exactly..." Bella told him and hoped that her dad wouldn't get enraged by her answer.

Her dad spoke again, his tone becoming more stern than before, which added extra discomfort  to Bella's mind. "Oh, and why would that be?"

"Um....because I'm busy?"

"And what would that be?" Bella was sweating constantly. Due to the constant sweat that poured down her skin, her phone was soaked wet from the dripping waterworks.
