Chapter 17

Things were a bit crazy. Adam, Bree, Chase, Seismo, Flurr, Kraw and Rokit had made it  to Equestria, found Twilight's friends, located Twilight, and were now working on a plan to save Equestria.

At Cassandra's tower, while everyone else were trying to locate Varian or Cassandra, Hi-5 and Julian had other plans. In attempt for fame and glory, Hi-5 decided to try to save Varian himself, with his BFF tagging along with him.

Of course, things didn't go as they planned. "HI-5.... HI-5..." HI-5 groaned as he began to open his eyes. His vision was blurry for a second, but it cleared a bit, and soon, he saw the brown, fluffy mammoth in front of him. "Morning, lazy boy!"

"What happened?!" HI-5 jolted fully awake in shock. "What year is it?!"

"Well, apparently, while we warned you two and you ignored our warnings, some villains knocked you both and now you're imprisoned with us," Varian explained.

"Yeah," Snowball said, annoyed. He was in the rock made cage since he hid inside Varian's backpack before he was kidnapped. "Nice job, Mizfit Guardians."

"Well, at least we tried, right, HI-5?" Julian asked, turning to his friend.

"I am not talking to you," HI-5 groaned and faced Julian angrily. "I'm mad at you!"

"For what?" Julian asked, confused. "What did I do?"

"It's your fault we got caught!" HI-5 snapped. "You were supposed to keep an eye out for all the villains!"

"I just thought that I could tell you that the coast was clear and I was wanting to ask if I could tell Raps and the others that we found Varian."

HI-5 mocked Julian before saying,"You don't do very good at your job."

"I know, right?" Julian said. "We're both bad at our jobs. What are the odds?"

HI-5 gasped, getting really offended. "Are you saying that I'm not good at my job?"

"Well, yeah," Varian said. "That's because you're not really the brave, heroic type."

"I can agree with that," Snowball agreed. "I mean, remember when Grogar imprisoned you and the other Guardians had to come rescue you?"

"Well, yes, I did remember that," HI-5 said. "And you two should be grateful that someone TRIED to come to your rescue."

HI-5 then faced Julian angrily. "If it weren't for you, I would've saved these guys and tried to-"

"Stop me?" A voice interrupted.

"Yes, that was exactly what I was about to say-" HI-5 stopped when Cassandra suddenly appeared in front of their cage, smiling evilly.

"Hello, hand," she greeted, keeping that smile.

"Hi, Cassie," Julian greeted while HI-5 just stared in fear. "Love your hair."

"Thank you, but flattery won't free you from prison," Cassandra pointed out.

"Oh."

"Yeah," Cassandra said before continuing. "You three thought you could just waltz in here and stop me, huh?"

"Uhh, yes?" HI-5, Julian, and Snowball answered.

"That's so typical of you heroes," Cassandra muttered. "Two Mizfit Guardians teamed up with a Mizfit and yet, they couldn't stand it. Couldn't you?"

"Uhh..."

"Let me guess," Cassandra started. "You thought you could get fame by breaking in here and attempting to stop me, despite the fact that you're just a stupid, butterfingered cowardly hand."
