Chapter 29

It's been a few days since the incident. Because of her selfless actions, V has been made into an honorary member of the Deciphers.  So now the team has two new members. V and Thad.

Upon realizing Stan and Ford's history with Bill and why they were not to know about Bella, the drone species, Chikn Nuggit, and his friends apologized to her for blowing her secret.

Bella forgave them since they had no idea. She made note to herself that next time she meets new friends, she should probably inform them more about her secrets and what kind of person weren't supposed to know about them.

Ralphie kept an eye on Stan and Ford just in case they tried to do anything to hurt Bella or even ruin her life. So Bella didn't have to worry about the grunkles  too much.

Right now, Bella and the Deciphers were trying to take the time to relax.  They were at a lake,  beyond the gate outside of Corona. Half of the Deciphers were playing in the water, while the other half were relaxing on land, laying down on their backs or stomachs while getting a tan from the burning sun.

"Ah, this is the life," Bella let out a calm breath. She was laying down on a blue floatie in the water, wearing nothing but a one eyed purple sunglasses, and a white bow with light pink polka dots.

"You've said it," V was next to her, laying down on a purple floatie. She was wearing yellow glasses, wearing a black swimsuit, and was just as relaxed as her best friend.

"Cheers?" The floatie V was laying down on came with a cup holder, which she had a cup of apple cider.

"Cheers." Bella pulled out her cup and the two tapped their cups together, before taking a small sip and letting out breaths of relief.

In the water, Dipper was looking at Bella, blushing a bit at her relaxed state. "Shark!" Someone screamed, and he looked behind him to see the dorsal fin of a shark.

Dipper screamed and began to swam away, and this caught Bella and V's attention. "Shark?" Bella said, confused, having never seen a shark before.

V dove into the water just as the shark was getting closer to Dipper. He pulled it down, and began to wrestle around underwater for a bit. She came back up with Adam, who was wearing a fake shark fin on his head, laughing as Dipper let out pantless breaths.

"Calm down, squirt," V told Dipper. "It's was just prank Adam was trying to pull."

"You should've seen your face," Adam said as he continued laughing.

"Adam, seriously?" Ruby deadpanned. She was on Thad's shoulders about to get into a chicken fight with Uzi, who was sitting on N's shoulders.

"Everyone tries that joke way too many times," Uzi smirked. As everyone went back to relaxing and having fun, Bella took another sip of apple cider as V swam right back to her after letting Adam go.

"This had got to be the most relaxing day in the history of summer," Bella said as she breathed calmly. V climbing back on her purple floatie.

"I agree, while this isn't exciting as murder or rescues, we're having the entire day to ourselves," V smiled.

"Yup, I honestly doubt anything could ruin this day," Bella said. She was then proven wrong when big screams rang throughout everyone's ears, starling them.

Bella and V toppled and fell off their floaties and into the water. Uzi and Ruby fell off of Thad and N's shoulders, crashing into the water below. Everyone else in the water froze in shock.

The other Deciphers that were relaxing on land, Bree, Skylar Storm, Chase, Lunk, Volectro, Magnifo, Flurr,  Chalice, and Oliver, jumped up upon hearing the screams.
