Chapter 15

"We have to figure out what Cassandra is planning to do with Varian and the scroll."

Back in Rapunzel's room, everyone was seated as Rapunzel and Bella stood in front of them. "We're not just gonna sit by and let her ruin Eugene's birthday," Bella told everyone, as Rapunzel opened her bag and looked inside for a second.

"Or anything else," Rapunzel added before closing her bag. "Right?"

The Ohannas stared at her silent. However, unlike the Ohannas, some of the Deciphers were more determined.

"Right," Luz stood with a confident grin and looked at the Ohannas. "I mean, Cassandra is out there with Varian, doing who knows what."

"Seriously, guys," Amity stood up as well. "Cassandra has Varian, not to mention an incantation that can control the rocks."

"We have to stop her," Bella said sternly, who was in her demon form.

"And make her pay for the traitorous act she has done to us," Timon growled, pointing Pumbaa's tail around like it was a shotgun.

"No, not like that, we're not gonna fight her,"  Mushu told him.

"Oh, come on, Timon, you gotta trust Rapunzel and Bella on this," Pumbaa told Timon. "Put in Varian for exchange of Cassandra."

"Pumbaa, that's not helping," Bambi said, annoyed.

"Princess, Bella, are you two in the same fight as us?" Lance asked. "We don't stand a chance against Cass and her unbreakable rocks, or her unbreakable armor."

"How are we gonna stop Cassandra, Bella?" Monarch asked her leader worriedly. "Not even puggie powers or Blurry's grace is a match against her."

"How are you gonna be able to get him back?" Genie asked.

"So, come on, Lance, she wasn't that bad," Eugene asked.

"Oh, I'm sorry, but what were you doing in that fight?" Lance asked as Pascal hopped onto a earth globe. "There was this boulder and..."

Lance began laughing as Pascal ran on the globe, spinning it around. Mushu, Cuphead, Mugman, and Chalice joined in on the laughter.

"My bro, you were running on a boulder," Mushu laughed.

"You sure were," Cuphead agreed.

"Okay, okay, he's getting offended," Lance said putting a hand on the spinning globe, stopping and sending Pascal flying as Mushu, Cuphead, Mugman and Chalice stopped laughing.

"What are you five laughing about, you were all there with me," Eugene said, offended.

"No, no, no, no, you're remembering it all wrong," Lance said, as he walked up to Eugene. "You know they say memory is one of the first things that comes to age."

"Are we finished?" Eugene asked, narrowing his eyes.

"Look, I know Cassandra's dangerous, but she's also our friend," Rapunzel told everyone.

"Rapunzel's right," Bella added. "I may not have known her as long as she and some of you guys have, but even I know, that this is still the Cassandra you always had."

"She's bad, but she's also our friend," Vanellope mocked. "Yeah, what a friend she was."

"We heard that!" Bella and Rapunzel shouted.

"Okay, but there's only one problem," Ruby said. "We don't know where she is."

"Yeah, she could be anywhere," Leo said. Just then, they heard Max neighed and saw that he was at the window.
