Bella stared with great shock at the sudden appearance of the pony. Red piercing eyes, dark gray coat, black flowing mane and tail.

"You're King Sombra..." Bella spoke with realization. King Sombra chuckled, as everyone around him stared with great shock and some with even  horror at his sudden appearance.

"Someone must've told you the tale of my old rule," King Sombra said, as Twilight and her friends glared, along with Ralphie and the Mizfitz.

"I...I don't understand," Bella stammered. "You were destroyed, at least, that's what Twilight told me."

With that, Bella turned and looked at Twilight, who was as shocked as she was to learn that King Sombra was somehow alive.

"I never truly died, I have ways of coming back," King Sombra explained. The people of Corona looked in fear as Sombra approached, in which Bella took notice.

"Hold it," she said, stopping him in his tracks. "I'm not letting you hurt anyone here. You tried to take over the Crystal Empire and all of Equestria. I won't let you take over Corona."

King Sombra bursted out laughing. "Is that so?" He asked the determined demon. "You think you can stop me?"

"Not just me," Bella glared as her fellow Deciphers walked over and stood besides her. "We."

"You may be powerful, but you're no match for us," Bree said, placing her hands on her hips.

"Most of us dealt with a lot worse, even before we joined this team," Cuphead said. King Sombra snickered. V just stared.

Normally, V would be happy to engage in combat. Even try to tear this stallion limb from limb. Right now, she was in great shock.

She looked at Bella. She didn't show any sign of fear. Just confidence. Even though Bella was a demon and not some ordinary human girl, it always amazed not just her, but everyone in the world.

She was so good at showing everyone just how fearless she was. How she was willing to risk her life for the lives of others.

"How cute," Sombra chuckled. "You know you can't save everyone here, not even Twilight."

"You wanna bet?" Bella said in a low tone. "Me and my team are gonna make sure you never bother anyone here."

"Is that so?" Sombra asked. "That's funny. How you couldn't even save her and those friends of hers from Cassandra. Back at the lava pit, when she tried to kill them."

"Stop talking hogwash," Bella growled. "Cass never tried to kill Twilight or her friends. They didn't do anything to her."

"Cassandra would never do anything like that," Rapunzel agreed with Bella, stepping besides her. Sombra bursted into laughter.

"You sure?" He asked as he looked at Twilight. "Why don't you ask the princess then? Surely as a true friend, she wouldn't lie."

Bella and Rapunzel then looked at Twilight, who frowned and looked down, her friends doing the same.

"It's true," Twilight spoke. Bella and Rapunzel's eyes widened as she continued. "We were on our way to the House of Mizfitz. Cassandra brainwashed the Brotherhood. They kidnapped us and brought us to this lava pit where she planned our execution. She wasn't the only one here. There were all kind of villains. Leonard, Dave, Yzma, Kai, a whole bunch of them."

Just as it couldn't get worse, what Twilight said next made Bella turn pale. "And your dad was there too."

"No..." Bella was in denial. "Please tell me it isn't true."

"I'm afraid it is, Bella," Applejack said, feeling bad for the demon. "He called the shots."

The rest of the Deciphers were shocked. Sure they were in disbelief when Twilight and her friends told them, but now that Bella was being informed, was it really true?
