Chapter 7

"So, all this time, you've been hiding here?"

N brought Dipper and Mabel back to some spaceship, and brought Bella along. As it turned out, Dipper and Mabel were right. Every one of Bella's members were hanging out at the spaceship. Cuphead, Mugman, and Chalice were playing cards. Adam and Kaz were keeping an eye on V, an Dissembly Drone that apparently wasn't as nice as N.

Everyone else was exploring the spaceship, with some trying to think up some plans of their own. "They were scattered and separated, like you," N explained. "I found all of them and brought them here."

"What is this place exactly?" Bella asked curiously. "Where are we?"

"Copper 9," N explained. "Where the worker drones live in peace, or at least try to be. Dissembly Drones, like me and V, came here to wipe out all the worker drones. But things started to become different when I met Uzi and Ruby a while back."

"You know Uzi and Ruby?" Bella asked, a little surprised.

"When we met, I thought they were new Dissembly Drones,"  N admitted. "When I found out they were worker drones, I tried to kill them. But Uzi and I had gotten close, so I spared her, and changed."

"Well, I just ran into Uzi and Ruby earlier," Bella told him. "Ruby was quite friendly, but Uzi...she doesn't trust me very much. Maybe they can help us out."

"We could ask them, but from what I was told,  the Deciphers save everyone and every creature, including humans," N started. "Ruby would usually be on board with saving them, but Uzi, she's kinda got her heart intent on murdering all humans."

"Woah," Bella said, a little blank. "Looks like Cassandra's not the only one I have to protect people from."

"Yeah, and Uzi and I aren't on speaking terms right now," N told her, and rubbed his left arm as he looked down.  "We haven't talked again since last time."

Bella looked at him with concern. "What happened?"

N looked down. He remembered what she said to him before. "What, what are you things?!"

"We were fighting J, another Dissembly Drone who was fused with the Absolute Solver," N started. "It was a big fight. A tough one even. After the fight, I offered Uzi and Ruby my hand. Then, Uzi just looked at me like she was scared, and said something. It hurt. We never saw or spoke to each other after that."

Bella looked at N with sympathy, and patted his shoulder. "I'm really sorry," she told him. "I'd be upset if any of my friends became scared of me and said something hurtful."

"What if she meant it?" N asked. In his visor, Bella could see greenish yellow tears pouring down. They weren't real tears, but he was sad nevertheless.

"I'm sure Uzi didn't mean all of it," she said. N appreciated her sympathy and pity for him. Bella really was a sweet creature.

"Bella, while we were here, I made a new map and kept track of Cassandra and the other villains," Chase walked up to Bella, and through some metallic band on his wrist, he projected a map. "We're not the only ones here."

Looking at the map, Bella saw the faces of Cassandra and each of the villains. She quickly became shocked when she also saw the face of the human girl that Cassandra attacked. "That girl... she's here too?!"

"Yeah, and not only do we need to get home, but we need to stop Cassandra as well," Chase told her as he turned off the map.

Bella thought for a moment. Then, she had an idea. "We need to stop Cassandra, get back home, and protect that girl," she said. "Chase, Oliver, Mugman, I need you three to stay here and find a way how to get us all home."
