Epilogue

Bella was been stressed lately. More distressed. It wasn't that Ozzie and Fizzarolli could blame her. She almost could've lost two, or perhaps five of the people she cared about.

The two had another sexual intercourse with her, usually to relieve her of her stress for a bit. That was an effect lust can have. Sometimes, having sex can take your mind off of something for a while.

However, a few hours after they have cooled down and calmly went to sleep, they have heard faint singing. They have slowly woken up, rubbing their eyes and sitting up.

That was when they noticed. Bella wasn't lying in the bed with them. Usually she was always cuddling into Asmodeus's chest. Whenever she was in the spooning position with them, she was always the little spoon.

But no. It was just two of them. Where was she?

Eventually Fizz saw her. It wasn't too strange for her to not be in bed with them. Sometimes she'd be standing out in the hallway or outside in front of the balcony.

And there she was standing outside, on the balcony. Softly singing to herself. Asmodeus and Fizzarolli always enjoyed hearing her sing. But this time. There was some negative light.

They enjoyed her songs more when she was happy. Not when she was...sad. The two crawled right out of bed.

Due to having sexual intercourse, the three have been naked. But apparently Bella had put on her light pink robe when she had woken up. Asmodeus put his red robe on while Fizzarolli was now wearing his night shirt and jester hat.

"I can't lose you too".

Asmodeus and Fizzarolli slowly opened the doors, and as they approached, they noticed something in Bella's hands. It was a halo.

It was bright yellow, with little spears with a circle in the middle. That couldn't be an exorcist's halo, could it?

"It's been three months now..."  Bella sighed. "Why'd you leave, Evelyn?"

"Bella?" Asmodeus placed a hand on the demon's shoulder, only for her to spun around and face him with surprise.

"Oh, Ozzie, I didn't see you or Fizz there," Bella started to calm down. "I didn't think you'd realize I was over here this time."

"Well, we could hear you singing," Fizzarolli shrugged. "We can't help but notice that you seemed a bit..."

"Shitty?" Bella raised a brow. "Terrible as shit?"

"We're just concerned is all," Asmodeus spoke. "We seem to be have noticed that you also have the halo of an... exorcist in your possession. I hope you don't mind us asking where you got it from."

Bella looked at the halo with a sad look, then she looked back at Asmodeus and Fizzarolli. "It's from someone I was really close with," she sighed. "Her name was Evelyn, and...she wasn't like the other exorcists."

Asmodeus felt sympathy, and so did Fizz. To be honest,  while the fact that Bella was really close with an exorcist puzzled them, they felt bad for her.

Asmodeus gently cupped his hands into Bella's. "Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked. "It's okay if you don't want to."

"Evelyn was the first," Bella spoke after a bit. "She was the first person I fell in love with. Even now it's hard to forget about her. I still remember when I first saw her. She was the most beautiful angel I've seen. With the shiniest halo and the most gorgeous golden wings I've seen."

Bella continued. "For two days, it was just us. She was stranded on Earth for some time, and planned to go back home. But she had decided to help me travel to Gravity Falls. We would look at the stars at nights, the beauty of nature. She'd even let me preen her wings once."

"For an exorcist, she doesn't seem too bad," Fizzarolli chuckled, but frowned when he saw a tear pour down from her eye. "I hope it's not too much, but...what happened?"

"Cassandra happened," she spoke, and Fizzarolli and Asmodeus eyes widened in shock.

"Evelyn and I had taken shelter in an old cabin and slept on the same bed for one night. Everything was going so well. But the next morning, I heard her scream. She wasn't in bed with me. So I rushed outside, and I immediately froze."

"I've never been so horrified in my life. There she was, that large black spike piercing through her chest. Through her heart. I didn't see anyone else besides her, and I didn't care. I slowly pulled her out of that black rock, but in the end, I couldn't save her. She died in my arms, and there was nothing I could do but break into tears and beg for her to come back."

Another tear poured down. "That's how I got her halo," she finished. "I held onto it ever since then to remember her by. Sometimes, I talk to it. As if she's still here. I never even got to say goodbye."

Asmodeus and Fizzarolli couldn't believe it. Bella had a crush on an exorcist angel, and Cassandra took her life away. None of them knew why, but that didn't matter right now.

Asmodeus and Fizzarolli slowly wrapped their arms around their lover, who slowly broke into a sobbing fit as she held onto the halo tightly. "Don't worry, hun," Asmodeus whispered. "It's gonna be alright. Wherever she is, I'm sure she's happy for you."

"Even though none of us met her, she must've been very important to you," Fizzarolli tried to assure her.

"I'm scared," Bella continued to cry. "What if I lose more people to Cassandra, and worst of all, my own dad? What if I lose....both of you?"

"That won't happen, Bella," Asmodeus shushed.

"How do you know?" Bella asked, looking up at him with tears overflowing her entire face.

"Because Fizzy and I... we're not going anywhere," Asmodeus told her softly. "We promise."

"You really promise?" Bella blinked a bit.

Fizzarolli took one of Bella's hands as he and Asmodeus both spoke gently. "We promise."

"Now, no more tears, okay?" Asmodeus reached out and wiped Bella's tears away. Bella nodded. The three walked back to the bed, and Bella and Asmodeus slowly took off their robes.

The three climbed onto the bed, with Bella cuddling into Asmodeus's chest, and Fizz wrapping his arms and tail around her.

"Ozzie? Fizz?" Bella spoke up.

"Yes, hun?" Asmodeus whispered as he and Fizzarolli looked at her, waiting for what she wanted to say.

"Thank you, for being there when I need you and everyone most."
