More embarrassing memories kept creeping up and my god can this girl control herself. Way to embarrass your best friend in front of her crush. Maddie came and joined and kept bringing up the most humiliating shit like oh my fucking Merlin stop it! Because of this, I decided to pay them back. Including Sebbie. "Hey do you remember when you Sebbie and Maddie had a water fight with Merula and Ismelda then Penny had a right go at ya," I laughed, gosh I loved that day. That school year in general was great, 3rd year. Despite the vaults again putting Hogwarts in danger, it was a great year. Oh my the looks on all of their faces, I was in stitches.

"Hey, (n/n) remember first year when we were in the library and you were so small you tried putting a book back then the whole shelf fell on you," Sebbie fucking paid me back, that little shit.

"Omg remember 5th year after you broke up with Felix and Merula actually backed you up!" Maddie mentioned That day I'll never ever forget, it happened in Arithmancy the literal hour after Felix and I broke up, I was visibly upset after this even though I was the one that called it quits with him. "Can you remember what she said? Didn't she say no wonder why your dad doesn't love you?" Typical gal always forgetting her memory but whatever she's a great friend.

"No Ismelda was talking to him and she said," this was the point where I lost it. I was laughing my arse off, embarrassing myself in front of my head of house and the person I was deliberately trying to avoid to suppress my feelings. Great. Just fucking great. "She pointed and said did you know the pig could talk!" My ribs started really hurting again. Oof.

"Oh miss (l/n) stop laughing! Your ribs won't get any better!" Madam Pomfrey yelled. "Anyway won't you look at the time you both should be in a study session in the great hall," awww I wish my friends could've stayed for longer but mind ya Madam Pomfrey was right, I could break many more ribs if I laughed more. And with that Rowan, Sebbie and Maddie left. Both Severus and Professor sprout looked at me, I could see into his black orbs that he felt guilty whereas Sprout was giving me a sympathetic look.

"Are you alright?" She asked.

"Yeah I'll be okay, just a few broken bones but I'll survive," I replied, I did in general feel alright just that my ribs hurt a bit.

"That's good, quite the nasty fall you had there and I must say congratulations! You made me so proud today!"

"Thanks Professor but I couldn't have done it without my team, that's what really matters to me," I did. My team were the best, I should know as I chose them.

"Yes we're all really proud of your achievement, you earned us 170 more points putting us in a tie with Gryffindor at the moment," she sounded so happy, maybe this could be the year where hufflepuff wins the quidditch cup. "Oh my lord! Is that the time? The mandrakes would be fully grown by now, I must tame them, I'll come check on you tomorrow (y/n),"

"Bye!" And with that she left the room leaving only me and.... Severus. Madam Pomfrey had left the room to her office to jot down my injuries, so yeah it was just Severus and I. We stared at each other, the room was silent. Not uncomfortable, as if one of us wanted to talk but couldn't find the right way to put it.

"So..... uhm.... That was a tough game, congratulations anyway," he started. It felt weird seeing Severus like this, he never really stuttered. This was honestly so awkward since we haven't seen one another since we kissed on his birthday.

"Oh thanks," I replied.

"Are you okay? That was a really nasty fall you had there," he looked at me with concern, mind ya my torso was wrapped in a bandage and so was my wrist.
