It's been a long week and with Valentine's Day coming up, I was stressed. Why the fuck is this time of year so stressful? And I had a fucking 3 hour practical exam in care of magical creatures. Oh yes how happy I am now.
What also didn't help was that Severus was constantly on my mind, we've not had any time to see one another. And I was craving him a little, my fantasies kept getting to the better of me and I once started drifting off in Defence Against the Dark Arts which resulted in me having points taken off.
Things just could not get any worse.
(A few days later) I walked into the common room lazily and then to my dorm. Safe to say that I was completely exhausted, the exam was so tiring and it didn't help that buckbeak and Beefy were really misbehaving. Hagrid said I did well taming them though, I highly disagree. But whatever, I was just glad today was over at last. Just on the brink of sleeping Rowan burst in with and screamed.
"HOLY SHIT I HAVE THE BEST NEWS EVER!!!!!!!!" She screamed.
"Fuckinghell Rowan you scared the shite out of me,"
"Sorry gal but look!" She pointed at a shiny badge on her robe which read out head girl.
"Oh my gosh Rowan I'm so proud of you come here," words could not describe how proud I was, I pulled into a really tight hug. We were practically suffocating one another.
"Thanks, my parents will be so proud of me!"
"They sure will,"
"Anyway that reminds me, here are some letters for you," she mentioned holding a pile of letters. "Looks like they're from your family," To which they were "well in that case I will leave you to read them,"
"Thanks, Ro," with that she walked out and I read each one of my letters, most of them were from my younger cousin, Cedric who's due to start here next year, he wants to be in hufflepuff too. I then got to the final letter which was most definitely Sev's handwriting.

I arrived at Severus' quarters with my gift. A book of secrets of the darkest arts which I bought from Flourish and Blotts, I thought it was nice so why not. I also turned up in a cute little black dress that drew a little bit of suspicion from my friends but I told them that I'm going for a stroll in the castle and just wanted to look nice. Which wasn't really the best idea but it stopped them questioning at least.
