At least it was spring. JUST OVER A MONTH AGO HAH! However tomorrow was something to really look forward to since it was a very big day! My 18th Birthday! April 23rd 1988 the year I turn 18! (A/n that's my birthday! Share your birthdays in the comments I'd love to know!)
I was originally gonna spend the night with Severus but I was against the idea since my friends would wonder why I'm not in the dorm when the room will literally be full of presents. My birthday usually falls in the holidays too which is a very big plus.

"Thanks it's beautiful," I then picked up another gift labelled from Penny. "Oh this one's yours Penny,"
"So it is, open it and see what you think of it, I hope it's alright, I paid 7 Galleons for that," I opened it revealing a cup in (y/f/c). "It's a cup that when you say what you want it appears it for you here look," she came over to the cup.
"Water," and with that the cup immediately filled with water.
"Wow that's so cool thanks penny!"
"No problem," I then picked up the next thing which was from Rowan.
"Let's go she's got mine now!" Opening gifts caused so much joy, I felt like flying every time I had a present. The gift was a long, black cloak, very velvety in texture. Merlin's Beard how much did it cost? The label said 10 Galleons!
"Oh my gosh Rowan you didn't need to spend that much on me!"
"But I did, you see you're a really great friend and I wanted to get the best for you,"

As the day went on, it just got better and better. I got more presents as well. A broom care kit from Barnaby, a wizard chess set from Ben, an encyclopaedia of dragons from Europe from Charlie, some cookies from Professor McGonnagall and a black Dalia from Professor Sprout. Great presents from everyone but one person was missing.

"Okay," so I followed him into his chamber and sat on the sofa next to him.
"Here, a little gift from me," he said handing me a box out of the small bag.
"Thanks, I'm sure I'll love it,"
"Oh you will," I opened the box which revealed a beautiful black crystal necklace.
