Chapter 25- A girls night in

A couple weeks passed by and I feel like I've had less and less support. Of course I spoke to Rowan and she's still supporting me through my pregnancy, Severus is still here obviously but I can't say the same for Maddie. I tried talking to her but she walked away, so it looks like she's ignoring me now and not just Severus. Rowan and I had a talk about this situation and what I'm going to do about it. "So you're going through with it?"

"Yes, I can't give up on a child, plus I think it could help me put my mind at ease if I bond with my child,"

"That's true but you plan on coming to teach here don't you? What will you do then?"

"I'm not sure, I'll see if I can speak to Dumbledore about raising my child here and send it to a nursery while I'm teaching,"

"That sounds like it could work," Penny walked up to our place on the table so now Rowan and I couldn't speak about my baby.

"Hi girls, what we talking about?" She asked cheerfully.

"Just future plans for after we finish at Hogwarts, I wanna become a professor here and so does (y/n),"

"Cool, I'm thinking about becoming a healer at St.Mungo's or maybe one of the potioneers there,"

"That'd be perfect for you, you're amazing at potions,"

"(Y/n)'s right,"

"Anyway what are you both gonna teach here?"

"I'm thinking about either Herbology or Defence against the dark arts,"

"And I wanna teach either astronomy or care of magical creatures,"

"Wow that's cool, do you wanna just have a girls night in for pampering and stuff?I could really do with one,"

"Sure, I think we all need one I mean (y/n) has been very stressed lately,"

"Yeah I have, it's reflected on my physical health too so yeah I could do with putting my mind to rest,"

"Perfect let's do it tonight, you both okay with that?"

"Yeah," we said in unison. " I need to pop to potions first, Snape needs to speak with me about an essay,"

"Oh okay, we'll see you back in the common room,"

"Bye girls," we all walked out the great hall and I headed down to let Severus know I was having a girls night in with Rowan and Penny. Again the cold air rushed through my spine as I walked down the stairs into the dungeon. As I approached to Severus' classroom the door was already open, so I walked in as I knocked the door to announce my presence.

"Hello Angel," he said walking up behind me.

"Oh my Merlin Severus,that's a new nickname,"

"Is that so? I thought I'd called it you before. So what are your plans for tonight?"

"I'm having a girls night in with Rowan and Penny so I thought I'd just tell you, I know I usually come to you on a Friday but I thought it'd be good to if I had a pamper to put my mind at ease," he walked up to me and snaked his arms around my waist to pull me closer.

"That's fine, love, you take care of yourself, I'll be here if you want to come back okay?"

"Thanks Sev," I whispered whilst brushing my lips on his. We pulled in for a kiss with him pulling me closer and my hands entangling his hair. He pulled away and smiled at me, I smiled back.

"Go on and have a good time, take care of yourself, tell them how you are feeling, like I said I'll be here if you want to come back,"

"Thank you Severus," with that I left the dungeon, not without giving him a quick peck first. So I headed down to the entrance of the hufflepuff common room, knocked on the barrels to open the door and headed up to my dormitory. Rowan and Penny were already sitting in there setting up for the mini slumber party. "Hi girls,"

"Hi, what did Snape say about your essay?" Penny asked. Shit think of something.

"He said it was fine, only minor mistakes but I managed to fix them," I said smiling nervously.

"Cool, now get your pyjamas on!" Rowan said throwing them at me.

"Okay," I said closing my 4 poster curtains to put them on. Whilst changing, something crossed my mind. Should I tell Penny that I'm pregnant? Hopefully she won't ask too many questions right? I don't know, I'll only mention it if the topic is brought up. "Alright I'm ready what are we doing first?"

"Well how about hair?" Penny asked. "You in Rowan?"

"Sure! (Y/n)?"

"Yeah," to that we started the gossip and the hair Penny putting mine into two cute little braids.

"You know, I found out that Merula was gay the other day," Penny said.

"What?! Pen you didn't know?!" Rowan shouted. "She's been out for ages!"

"Has she? I only going out a few days ago,"

"Yeah, Penny she came out after Slughorn's do," I replied.

"How is it I only just found out when I did?"

"You've just been living under a rock ,"

"Shut the fuck up, Rowan. So what's the dealio with you and Maddie? She's been ignoring you like crazy," the fact I knew she was going to ask about that. Oh fuck. I sighed.

"Rowan, should I tell her the truth?" I said looking at her.

"Yeah, I think it's best," as Penny finished my hair I turned around and looked at her in the eyes.

"Okay, please don't freak out when I tell you this,"

"I swear,"

"Thanks, I'm just gonna come right out and say it," I inhaled and exhaled deeply as to calm myself down. "Penny, the reason Maddie has been ignoring me is because she's mad at the fact that I'm..... I..... oh I can't," the words just could not escape, now I had to rely on freaking Rowan. "Rowan can you?"

"Okay, so essentially, long story short, Maddie is angry at (y/n)-"

"JUST TELL ME!"

"I WAS ABOUT TO SAY IT! Now then, Maddie is angry at (y/n) because she's........ pregnant," Rowan said c a l m l y.

"What? Wait who's pregnant?"

"I am, I had sex the night of Slughorn's party and forgot to use protection, at least I think,"

"But who's the father?"

"I don't remember who fucked me that night! Rowan immediately pinned the blame on Charlie but I'm pretty sure it wasn't him, even if it was it would feel wrong! Charlie is like my brother for fucks sake, it would feel like incest kissing him,"

"Yeah typical that you would pin it on Charlie, you literally ship them,"

"I know, it's just that I cannot think of a suitable boy for (y/n), she's already dated 2 other boys. Fucking Felix Rosier who's parents were death eaters and that Jamie kid who is the least hufflepuff boy ever!"

"True,"

"But girls I assure you it wasn't Charlie,"

"Okay we believe you come on let's do some self care, so are you gonna keep it?" Penny asked.

"Yeah I'm keeping it, I can't let this child go cuz it could be the marking of me,"
