"Right, miss (l/n) are you ready for this potion? I warn you that it will cause immense pain in your abdomen,"

"I'm sure it won't be worse than what I already have," she giggled and gave me the phial.

"Okay I'll have to give this since you'll take it away if you have it yourself," she poured the potion into my throat and immediately the pain returned. This time worse.

It was as if I was shot and stabbed in the stomach over and over and over again. Only a few drops of it was consumed. I couldn't. As I drank more, the pain just kept on growing until it all went to black.

(Snape pov)
"Snape, are you alright?" It was a familiar voice. One I had heard back in my days at Hogwarts, I looked up and saw my old herbology professor and his wife. It was Professor (L/n), (y/n)'s grandfather. "You look awful, is everything alright?"

"Oh right, I've just lost someone that's all, how come you're here?" It came out harsher than intended but it wouldn't surprise me if they were here to see (y/n).

"Well I had a little accident at the ministry and was hit with a curse but I'm all good now," his wife said cheerfully.

"Yes but we also heard our granddaughter is in here somewhere,-" the nurse came out of the room and addressed all of us.

"It's all successful but she's in shock, she's passed out," I stood up with first instinct.

"Can I see her?" I asked calmly.

"You may, are you three related to this girl?"

"We're her grandparents, oh come on Florence let's see our little girl," I followed the couple in and there she was lying in bed unconscious. "My word, what happened to her?"

"She's had a miscarriage, are you aware of this sir?" She asked to my old professor.

"No, certainly, we didn't even know she got pregnant!" She didn't tell them? I was under the impression that they knew. I wonder why she hadn't said anything. Surely there's a reason?

"Oh right, but you don't need to worry dears she'll be just fine, all she needs is emotional support and rest," to that she left the room.

"So Snape, what brings you here?" He asked.

"Well I brought (y/n), she came to me as I was the only one on night patrol," that was the only excuse I could think of, surely they would think it's weird for me to be dating their granddaughter, after all we had a difference of 10 years in age.

"Oh dear, did you have any idea that she was pregnant? She didn't tell us nothing," replied the woman Florence.

"No, all I knew was that she came to me in the hallways and said that she had a stabbing pain in her stomach,"

"Well we can't possibly scold her I mean you had our Linda at 19 and she went and had Cedric at 21,"

"That's quite true, Lincoln,"

"Do you have any children, Snape? I always thought you and Lily were an item," fuck. I was about to answer his question until we heard (y/n) groan. We looked in her direction and seemed to be waking up.

Light came back to me, I was still in the same bed, the same position. Except there were other people in there, it took a few seconds to realise who it was. Severus and.....
my fucking grandparents. Oh shit I'm gonna have the death penalty, I forgot to tell them I was pregnant.

"Oh, our little daisy is fine," my grandma cried.

"So she is, can you talk to us, starlet?" Nothing came out of me just a groan. I glimpsed over at Severus who's eyes were shiny, he'd been crying I just know it. He hardly ever cried, the only time I can remember is the night of when he saved me from suicide. I wanted to cuddle up against him and tell me that everything would be okay but I couldn't, all I could do was lay there and silently cry. Which I did.

"Oh dear, she's having a fit, Lincoln where's the lavender oil?!" My grandma yelled. I looked at Severus and held my hand out, I just wanted his touch to comfort me, he agreed reluctantly and squeezed it just to keep me calm.

"It's okay," he whispered. I smiled at him with tears still pouring out of my face, gosh I loved him so much. Hopefully he hasn't told my grandparents about our relationship. "Don't worry I haven't," he whispered, which relieved me.

"ARE YOU JOKING ME?! YOU FORGOT TO PACK IT?!"

"Florence, my dear the healer said take it easy, you're still recovering from the little burst of the cruciatus curse!" Well that's my grandparents for you, dramatic and protective as always. When it hit me.

"G-g-grandma?" I stuttered. "Y-you were hit b-by the c-c-crucio?" I let go of Sev's hand as to not draw suspicion.

"Yes, dear but you're in a much worse condition! We were already here when we found out you came in, why didn't you tell us my love? We could've helped you," to this I teared up again.

"I was scared, of how you'd react,"

"Oh darling, it's alright, we're not mad. Mind you your own mother was pretty young when she had you, well she was 24 and had 3 other children but that doesn't matter, they're muggles going on about life,"

"Thanks gramps,"

"And I see you've met Snape an old student of mine,"

"You used to teach him?"

"Yes, he was quite good at herbology but had the gift of potion making probably why he was so good,"

"Yeah he's really good, I love potions," I said looking over at Severus. I then looked over at my grandma and saw her eyes widen.

"LINCOLN! LINCOLN WE NEED TO GO WE HAVE A MINISTRY MEETING! I hope you get better soon my love and you Snape, take good care of her!" She winked at Severus, I think she knows. Fuck.

"Bye bye dove," replied my grandpa.

"Bye," sev and I said together. "You never told me that my grandpa taught you in herbology,"

"The topic never really came up but in all seriousness, babe are you alright?" I wasn't. I felt so shit, I started to cry again.

"No, Rosalyn has gone," he hugged me and stroked my back to calm me down. I just felt like bursting, exploding.

"I know, I feel just as shit as you do, I love you so much, you'll be strong I know you will."

"I love you too, what if I can't Severus? I feel so weak right now! It doesn't feel right! I should be carrying our daughter!" I cried into the crook of his neck. I just couldn't take it no more.
