Chapter 33- the plan

"That's a bit concerning isn't it?" Asked Rowan. We were sat outside by the black lake because the courtyards were full and it's quieter down here too. It was relatively cloudy but still quite warm.

"I know it is but I know he's in there!"

"So what shall we do?" She asked again.

"We need to go and find him, we know where the entrance is because of everything that happened last year."

"Yeah you're right. But how can we go about this, we can't do this by ourselves. And plus what if your boyfriend catches us."

"True but we have to get others so far there's me and you. We need more people,"

"Maybe Penny, Ben and Charlie,"

"Yeah I'm also thinking Merula she's always wanted to investigate,"

"Her? Are you serious?! I mean I wouldn't mind if Barnaby came along cuz you know he's really good at spells,"

"So is she, come on Rowan, she'll be great!"

"I guess you're right. Can you still risk expulsion?"

"Yeah, I can still risk expulsion even though I'm dating him,"

"Right okay, so when are we gonna go?"

"Urgently, we'll go later,"

"Okay then, we'd better let the others know," there was silence. "On second thought I'll let them know, because I can see someone over there," she said pointing to a black figure.

"What? Why are you-"

"(Y/n) it's your boyfriend over there,"

"Oh, are you sure about telling the others?"

"Yes, now go over to him and give him some love, I know you want to,"

"Okay, I will," I laughed, so I got up and started to walk over to Sev, actually it was more of a run than a walk. As I ran closer and closer to him, he just kept getting further away. I had to call him. "Severus!" Then he turned around. He smiled as I ran over to him, and stopped where he was.

"Love,"

"Hi," I said puffing for air. "Oh fuck it," I just went up and I hugged him so tightly as if I was holding him hostage. " I love you so much," I don't why, I just started crying.

"Oh love, you're so spontaneous," he felt me shaking because for some weird reason I was crying. "Why are crying?"

"Thank you for everything, you've made me so happy," I sobbed out. "I love you so so much,"

"I love you too darling, aw, I should be the one thanking you really," I looked back up at him with my teary eyes.

"Why would you be saying thank you?"

"Because ever since I've been with you, I've seen light in my life again. I feel like now I have a reason to live, you've fixed me from how broken I was after Lily died,"

"Oh Sev," I just leaned in and kissed him without any second thoughts. I didn't care if there was someone around. To me, Severus and I were the only people on this earth. Our lips kept moving in sync with one another, being with him was just heavenly.

"I never asked you, how was your last exam?"

"It was good, I'm so glad it's all over,"

"So am I, you seemed very stressed. At least now you can make the most of your time here,"

"Yeah, I don't wanna leave, I love being here with you," I said as more tears streamed down my face.

"Maybe if we can persuade your grandparents, you could come and live with me in my house,"

"Really? Where is your house?"

"Spinners end, Cokeworth,"

"Oh my Merlin I don't live far from there, I'm sure they'll let me," we kissed again, so happy that we could live together after I leave Hogwarts and start my career path working with magical beasts and stargazing. "You're the best,"

"You are," he looked backwards then picked me up bridal style.

"Oh my gosh, Severus what are you doing? Where are we going?"

"You'll see," he walked down the pathway which lead over to Hagrid's hut. Oh gosh I hope he's not in there. "Don't worry he's not in, he's in the castle," what a relief. As he walked further and further, we ended up in the forest. Just on the outskirts of the dark area. "I thought we could have some alone time,"

"Oh Sev, you're so sweet, honestly I wonder if I deserve you,"

"It's me who doesn't deserve you, dear. Now then I thought I'd show you something, it's to prove how much I love you,"

"What is it?" He got out his wand, closed his eyes and muttered an incantation.

"Expecto Patronum!" He yelled and out came a blue and sliver (y/p). "My patronus has changed, it used to be a doe because of my love for Lily but now it's this which can only mean one thing,"

"Is that my patronus?"

"I think it is, you try casting yours,"

"Well, I've never really cast one before and whenever I've tried, the memory is never happy enough,"

"Try it again now, I'm sure you'll think of something that'll make you happy enough to cast one,"

"Okay, I'll give it a try," I tried to think of my happiest memory. The night me and Severus got together. I then muttered the incantation "expecto patronum!" And at the end of my wand was the blue and silver (y/p) which only meant one thing. Severus and I were truly meant to be. I started to cry again as the two patronuses ran around with each other, Severus then hugged me tightly. "Sev,"

"I love you so much, (y/n)"

"I love you too," we then let go and shared a kiss under willow and oak trees. "I can't believe it,"

"What?"

"All of this, it's so crazy how we're just meant to be,"

"I know, I never thought I'd love again after Lily. Do you want to lay on the ground and watch the sky?"

"I'd love to," he then held my hand and we laid together on the warm dirt with Severus' cloak keeping us from getting dirty.

(Snape PoV)
I had been laying with (y/n) for a few hours now, I could tell because it was starting to get dark. She was fast asleep on my shoulder and I didn't want to disturb her, so I picked her up again and decided I'll take her back to my chambers just to sleep for tonight.

Honestly words could not describe how much I loved this girl. She was beyond perfect. And now our patronuses match. In case you didn't know, a patronus matches to the one you are truly in love with. Which was now (y/n)'s, a (y/p). My patronus used to be a doe because it matched Lily's, it makes me so happy to know I can finally love again.

I arrived to my chamber and put her down on the sofa, just for now, and made us a small bite to eat since we had missed dinner. Just after I had set the table, she woke up. "Hello love," so I decided to sit down by her.

"Hi,"

"You okay? You seem pretty parched,"

"Yeah, exam tired me out,"

"Aw it's alright,"

"What time is it?"

"Um I think it's 9 pm,"

"Oh fuck, I just realised I was meant to meeting Rowan, I'm sorry Sev I have to go," she said starting to go.

"Love, don't go you haven't had anything to eat,"

"It's fine I'll eat later, I really have to go I'm sorry. I love you,"

"I love you-" she shut the door. "Too,"
