HUDSON WAS NOT the softest pillow in the world. However, he was the most comfortable to snuggle with during a cold night. He didn't plan on spending the night, and he never thought of turning on the AC. Considering that I was wearing my clothes, I was the first one to wake up from the most uncomfortable sleep of my life.

He woke up around thirty minutes after I did, and by the time he was out of the bed, I had a shower and a change of clothes.

❝Good morning.❞His voice was husky, and his messy hair was adorable.

I smiled, ❝Good morning, Hudson.❞

He approached me, and took me by surprise when his lips gently touched my temple.

❝Step aside,❞ He said, ❝I'll finish it.❞

I listened and he took my spot in front of the stove. I've made a few pancakes already, yet somehow, his batch came out fluffier, sweeter and prettier. Of course, I knew he was a great cook, but looking at him from the sidelines that only made him more attractive.

We sat on the countertop, with him sitting next to me. In silence, we ate the most amazing pancakes I've ever tasted.

❝What are your plans for the day?❞ He questioned and then took another bite.

❝I'll have to go to classes, and Freya hit me up about going to one of her favorite clubs. So I might do that?❞

❝What kind of a club is open on weekdays?❞
I cleared my throat, ❝A BDSM one.❞

He choked, ❝Oh, wow. I didn't know you're into that.❞

I shrugged my shoulders, ❝I'm not, but I am interested to see what's happening over there. Sophie will probably come too.❞

❝Can I come with?❞

❝Absolutely not. It's a girls night.❞

He spun my chair around, and gave me the most unsettling look I'd seen on his face. Hudson was worried, and it warmed up my heart a little bit.
❝It's a BDSM club. It's bound to have a creep or two, I just want to make sure you're safe.❞

I flicked his forehead, ❝I'm not a child. Besides, that club is owned by a millionaire who has really tight security. So, no, I don't think there's any need to go with me.❞

He made a bigger distance between us, and then gave me a toothy grin, ❝Well, I might want to check the scene out. It might be to my liking.❞
