Rooster's POV
Jake comes over and I mumble "this is him" and Tom nods. Jake says "bring your dad to a bar? Classy." I say "you're here, anything's possible. I put drinks on your tab by the way." Jake says "ok, rude." Tom puts his hand out saying "Iceman" and Jake says "Hangman." I say "asshole meet ex asshole." Ice mumbles "you sure you two like each other?"

Jake says "it's been a long day. Wait. You know?" Ice says "I know everything. One confirmed air combat kill. The first one since Mavericks thirty years ago. Very impressive." Jake says "thank you, sir. Penny, whatever the Admiral wants, put it on my tab." She says "you got it." Iceman says "you remind me of myself when I was your age. Don't be so hard on yourself. It doesn't look like you are but you are. I see it. It's good to have ambition but don't let insecurity consume you. I've read your records, you've made it, kid. You could retire after this."

Jake says "maybe I'll rise the ranks. I'll come for your title, old man." Ice says "I'm younger than Maverick" winking at him. Jake says "I'm sure, I did call him grandpa the other day. First time I met him." Ice says "the first time I met Maverick, he hated me for sure. I loved to piss him off. I think that rage made him the pilot he is today."

I say "what we've learned today is that rage and sadness makes the best pilot." Jake says "so angsty of you" chuckling and Tom says "I have to go talk to the old man. I'll see you two tomorrow." I say "bye, Tom" chuckling and he says "see you, kid." Jake says "I swear if the Admiral is your father." I say "he's not my father. He looks like he could be your dad, not mine." He smiles at me and I mumble "why am I so easy?" He chuckles and we just hang out, drink our beers.

We sit silently just enjoying each others presence. He says "what are your parents like?" I say "my dad was the funniest most go lucky guy you'll ever meet and my mom was just a sweetheart. My dad passed on a Top Gun mission when I was younger. Plane complication. They had to eject and hit his head on the canopy, the flyer surviving." He quietly says "who was flying the plane?" I say "my dads best friend. Maverick was flying the plane" quietly.

Jake says "you don't hold a grudge because of that, right?" I say "no, he pulled my papers from the Naval Academy" quietly. Jake says "now I'm mad. That really sucks" looking at me and I say "anything more you want me to clear up? If not, I want to know more about you." He says "I don't think I have anything else to ask you" quietly. He looks at me saying "can I get you another one?" I say "sure" smiling and I bite my lip. I watch him walk to the bar and I mumble "shit" smirking and shaking my head.

He's just hot. I can't even with him anymore. I just watch him and he just takes his time. Jake for sure knows what he's doing. I say "babe, you drive me crazy" quietly and he smirks saying "doll, I'm just too hot to handle" quietly. I smile, shaking my head. I bite my lip saying "tell me about your family." Jake says "my family is an interesting bunch in short. My mother is the nicest person you could ever meet. My dad is just a guys guy. You talk about football or you watch a game with him, that's your new best friend. Lastly, my sister. She's cool. Before I came out here, I bought her her first drink."

I say "she's a youngin" and Jake chuckles saying "she just turned twenty one. She's beautiful and she would call herself a bad bitch. She's interesting but you'd love her." I smile saying "she does sound interesting" chuckling. Jake smiles saying "you'll get to meet her. She's stranger than you." I say "but is she stranger than you?" He says "I'm normal, you're weird." I chuckle saying "ok, weirdo." We finish our second beers and he mumbles "can I take you back?"

He checks me out and I mumble "yes, please." He smirks and bites his lip then I go over to Tom and Pete. Tom says "I'll catch a ride with Pete, don't worry about me" winking at me. I say "I'm gonna head out, I'll see you later." Tom says "tomorrow" smirking and I walk out, Jake following me a few minutes later. I stand against my car and Jake says "this yours?" I say "yeah, get in."

We get in and we go back, him just rubbing my thigh as I drive. I mumble "you're going to get me hard if you keep doing that." He smirks saying "babydoll, I just can't help myself." I mumble "my fucking god." I park and I look at him saying "babe, you're killing me." He gets out saying "come on, babydoll" chuckling. I say "you drive me crazy."

We go in and I say "I gotta take this uniform off" and he says "let me help you with that." I kiss him softly and I just take my time taking his shirt off. He moves his hands to my lower back mumbling "I missed you." He moves to take my shirt off and moves to rub my sides slowly. I undo my own belt and he undoes his, making eye contact with me.

I bite my lip and I kiss him mumbling "my god, you can't just look at me like that" making him smirk and he leans in to kiss me. I smile and I shake my head mumbling "you drive me crazy." I kiss him and he mumbles "you are gorgeous" and wraps his arms around me tightly. He mumbles "do you know what you're doing?" I smile saying "yeah. I'll show you the ropes" kissing him softly and he smiles, kissing my neck mumbling "show me, babydoll."
