Luke have been excelling in his recovery. He's been working extremely hard every day and it has not been easy for him. I've seen him at his best and his worst. Let's just say, his worst is not pretty. He has a lot more energy now and is enjoying food a little more. He's even planning on getting rid of that dumb scale in his bathroom.

He's given me a list of his fear foods and when he's ready, he takes on the challenge by eating it. It makes me happy to see him trying to get better.

It's been a productive week, I've been busy with school, finishing up midterms, and most of the time I'm not in class. I'm either at the library or I'm at work. Working two jobs, one at the bar and the other at the law institution while doing my last year of law school, I've barely had time for myself. I do get very stressed, but all my worries go away once I'm with Luke.

Which is almost every day, until now. "Sorry, but I have to be on Atlas's team." I try moving away from Luke, but he has a grip on one of my belt loops on the side of my jeans. We're playing laser tag with the entire group. Its the time that a lot of Luke's friends are in town.

"There aren't teams," He answers. "There is!" I blurt out once I get out of his grip and run over to Atlas. We're putting our vests and headbands on when our instructor claps her hands, getting our attention.

"Rules! No physical contact, no climbing, no running in closed parts of the arena, to reload yourwhole gun hold this button for five seconds." She holds up one of the guns and shows us a button on the side of it.

Luke looks over at me and a little smile turns the corner of his lips. Butterflies fill my stomach and my cheeks turn red. Atlas notices this and he pulls me behind him. "Don't get distracted by the enemy." I peek behind him to see him still smiling at me.

Dylan stands beside Luke, adjusting his vest. "We're a team, Luke." He says nudging Luke while Diego's girlfriend, Lara, joins him.

Before I know it we're released into the arena. "Five minutes to get ready, turn on your lasers and vests. There will be a countdown and a whistle when it's time," She closes the door behind us and the place is barely lit up with fluorescent lights.

Everyone runs off, leaving Luke and I. "Don't target me," I warn Luke and he raises an eyebrow at me. I poke his chest a few times. "It will be a suicide mission if you target me," I say. He grips my hand and pulls me to him, kissing me slowly. "Don't get distracted by the enemy," I mumble between kisses.
