"I am so hyped bud!" I tell Luke excitedly as we get out of the car. After what felt like a gazillion years with Luke's family we finally got to the hotel we are staying at. I was so shocked when I found out Luke's mom, Blake, actually owns this entire hotel. I was even more shocked to find out she owns a lot of hotels around the world. Some I actually heard of in Manhattan. "Don't call me bud," Luke grumbles exhausted.
He lifts all our luggage out of the car and sets it on the hotel baggage cart. Blake told Luke he isn't allowed to get hotel staff to help with our bags so late in the night so he has to do himself. I reach in to grab a bag and he slaps my hand away.
"Let me help you asshole," I scrunch my nose at him. He pauses and looks over at me. Then he steps away from the car and gives me a 'go ahead' head tilt. Feeling super-duper strong, I reach in and grab onto the handle of the large black suitcase. I pull and it moves maybe a few centimetres.
I pull away and look over to Luke who is leaning against the car, an impressed look on his face. I crack my fingers to show him my insane amount of muscles and try again to just fail. "You purposely left the heaviest one for me." I narrow my eyes at him, giving up. He walks forward and yanks it out with one arm in a matter of seconds.
We enter the hotel and my eyes light up. No ways am I standing in a lobby of an extremely, extremely nice hotel. Jeez, I could never afford to even get a night here.
I genuinely didn't even think that places like this existed. I feel like I'm walking into a golden encrusted palace and by the look on Luke's face, he doesn't think the same.
It has gold detailing that goes up the walls. The main colors are white and black. There is also a giant fountain and I try to figure out if the water is coming from the ceiling or if it's being shot up. I just stare at the water with my eyes wide as I nudge Luke to get his attention.
He looks up at the fountain unamused. "I feel wrong for looking at it." I say as I stare at this fountain while Luke goes to check in. Does he even have to check in since he seems like he knows this hotel on the back of his hand?
Once everything is finally checked in and I get pulled away from the water fountain.
I would expect myself to be really tired especially since I had work and I traveled across the state, but my god I am not. Every hour I feel like I am getting more energised.
Luke on the other hand looks like he is about to pass out. I think he was sleeping while standing in the elevator. He might have blaked out. From what I am aware of, he didn't get his night coffee.
We get to our floor and I just follow Luke to the room as I look at all the beautiful decor on this floor. We get to the door and on it I read Luke's name engraved onto a gold plate attached to the door. I turn around to see five other rooms with his siblings names engraved on plates and two other doors that have no name on it. "Woah, uh- why do you have your name on it?" I ask as he opens the hotel room door.
