A/N: I definitely love their Change my Mind song. I have hearts for eyes whenever this song plays... La la la...
[Somewhere out there...]
"This is a three hundred-year old mirror originally owned by Monsieur Franc Develed. It is said that he was one of the wealthiest people to live during the 17th century. It has been in its original state through its first fifteen years of existence and not once did the Develeds ever had it repaired." The tour guide gestured towards the intricate details of the mirror and said, "After he died, it was passed on through rich families until it stayed for more than two hundred years in the town of Lenka, formerly known as Maurice Ville. It adorned the walls of the Greenberg castle for more than one hundred years."
One of the girls on tour punches her fist in the air.
"Yes, dear?" The tour guide queries.
"Didn't Greenberg castle collapse due to an earthquake?"
A loud murmur from the tourists broke out at her question.
"Smart girl there, miss. Yes and that's the main reason why this mirror is known in almost the whole world..." She pauses to create an effect. "It is the only thing that survived the 7.8 magnitude earthquake... unscathed."

"Master. You should've told me about this the night you arrived." Cecilia said while she tends on my broken knuckles.
"I forgot." I fibbed which earned me a sigh from Cecilia. I hiss as Cecilia sews up my wounds.
"You've never brought a girl before. She must be very special." I stayed quiet and watch her mend my hand with a thread and needle. "Dr. Hemming sent these for you. He knows you won't visit his office; he'll be here later tonight. I think he sent an anaesthetic drug to temporarily relieve the pain."
Cecilia stands up and took something out of the drawer. "How long will she stay here?"
"That's none of your business." I replied dryly.
When she faces me, I can't help but regret what I said. Cecilia has been nothing but nice to me since I was younger. She goes back to sitting across me, held my hand and carried on tending with it.
Her face had lines and her wrinkles are deeper and more obvious. I watch her gently wrap the bandage around my hand. "Your father was furious."
"What's new?" I snorted lazily. I bet William called him after the party crash that the boys and I made.
"Don't be too hard on him. He's just worried about you."
Deciding against saying something about her remark, I just rolled my eyes at her.
"There. All done. We just need to wait for the doctor."
I stood up and made to leave the room without thanking her.
"Oh, and Master?" Cecilia's voice reverberates from my back. I wheeled around and raised my brows. "What?"
"The lady's awake. She's been outside for quite an hour ago." She states as she cleans all the first aid paraphernalia.
"So? Let her do whatever." I shrugged like the subject is not important.
Cecilia put down the bottle that she was about to put inside the drawer and gave me a tight smile; a first. "She might be lonely." I see her smirking like she knows something I don't.
