He is bound to leave me. After all, the past is about to catch up to us.

But this is all for the better.

I never stopped thinking about what Harry and I talked about in that secret place of his.

My parents. This is the first time in years that I wanted to see them... in any way, or any form.

Zayn said that we've trespassed enough at Harry's that's why we head to their place instead. Nevertheless, I am aware that his decision was solely because of me.

"I'm alright, Eirylle. I just want to be alone." I told Eirylle, who I know for sure is dying in grief for she thinks I am starving myself to death.

But I am not.

On the very day when Harry left, something happened. Something that changed everything.

That day, as I sleep on Harry's bed, I feel something crawl underneath the sheets that cover my whole body. I thought at first it was a ghost.

I stay still, waiting for it to show up. Then I hear it audibly. It was a cat.

"Hello." I greeted it, loosening my grip on the bed covers.

There on its collar is a pendant. "Sadie? Where did you come from?"

Sadie, the cat, leaps off the edge of the bed and faces me, mewing and moving his head like he is gesturing for me to follow him.

Can cats do that?

I've seen a lot of the supernatural things, and this is no different.

I take my clothes and got dressed without taking my eyes off the cat for fear that he might disappear if I ever blink or look away for a second.

Why am I shaking so bad? From waist down, I feel as if all the muscles in there turned into jelly.

In spite of my weakened state, the urge to do what I think I must is stronger. And off Sadie and I left Harry's room.

I know I shouldn't be thinking of other things other than what happened last night, but I thank my brain for being weird. At least it helps me busy myself from thinking about Harry. Because it pains me to be reminded of him.

"Where are you going? Are you hungry?"

Sadie disappears to a corner making me stride faster. "Hey! Wait up!"

"Sadie? Sadie!" I call out for he was nowhere to be seen. I know I was at the third floor. And I know for a fact that the humongous mirror Mrs. Styles bought was placed on the wall by the stairs. So... "How did this end up here?"

I look at my reflection on it and I feel a shudder down my back. It wasn't cold, but, little by little, fog is coming out of my mouth.

And then long, dead and claw-looking fingers grasp my shoulder and shakes me like a rag doll.

I gasp, embracing my whole body as if I'm about to scatter into pieces if I didn't do so.

"What is it?" I whisper. "W-What do you want?"

"My child, I never thought you'd come back."

All of the lights go out. I feel my lungs being pressed in all directions making it hard to breathe.
