We're flying back tomorrow. Unfortunately, we have to fly home earlier than expected because of my internship. It's more to prepare than we thought, since I'll be in almost every department for a few weeks. Elio and Renzo flew back while Emilio and I were on Capri to begin with everything. Honestly I still don't fully understand what exactly they do and who Emilio's first assistant is. I guess I'll see that soon enough.

"Are you done?", Emilio just finished packing up his things.

"Yea but, I don't want to leave though.", I embrace his body.

"I know, me neither."

———

"Emilio."

"Hm?"

"What are we gonna do about Jae."

"I thought we weren't talking about this."

"I know, I'm sorry. We said we're waiting until we come home, but we're flying back tomorrow and that question has been nagging on my brain. I can't stop thinking about it, so please just tell me.", I take a deep breath.

What do I do if Ivy's in danger? What if we really find some dirt on Jae's family?

We're all in this. None of us can't back off now.

"I'll ask Elio to do some research on them.", he says like it's no big deal. But it is. I'm freaking out. If Jae's really what I think he is, we would all be in danger. I don't think that I could live normally again, knowing my family, my husband and everyone I care about would be in danger.

"Why is he doing that?"

"I'm just the CEO. Before I do something Elio and Renzo do background checks and research everything. They are IT-nerds. I was never really interested in that.", now that I think about it, Elio and Renzo never asked me anything because they already knew.

"Should I talk to him about it? Don't you think it'd be dangerous if I write it down? Because if someone knows what we're doing...", he takes my hand and calms me down.

"Let's deal with everything when we're home, okay? We can't do anything without those two anyways.", he gives me a reassuring smile.

"Alright."

———

"Thank you for visiting us. It was a pleasure to meet you. I still can't believe that my little baby is married now, to a wonderful woman at that.", she leans in for a hug.

"Thank you for having us. I'm so lucky to have you as my mother-in-law. To be honest I was freaking out for a week before coming here. I was scared that you would disapprove.", I pull her closer to me.

"Who would ever disapprove of this little angel.", she releases me to look at my face.

"Oh god, please stop. I don't want to be a sloppy mess.", I wipe away a tear.

"Would you look at them. They look so happy. I'm glad that Emilio doesn't look so tense anymore, he really needs to learn how to relax.", she points at Emilio and his dad.

"I know right? I'm telling him all the time, but I guess he feels responsible for everyone and everything.", I tell her and she sighs.

"Let's bring the food out before we both start crying.", she nudges me.

"Hey you two.", I bend down and kiss Emilio on his cheek.

"Hello.", Cassio answers.

"You look a lot better dad.", I smile at him.

"Thank you, but it makes me sad that my son and my daughter are already leaving.", he takes a sip of his espresso.

"We'll visit again, soon. I promise.", Emilio cheers his dad up. And as response Cassio just hums.

And with that we left.

We flew back home.

To our home.
