An hour later Rick finally came back in from his shift on watch he handed the keys to Maggie explaining to her, "Take watch. Eyes open, head down." Rick then walked over to the rest of the group, "The field's filled with walkers. I didn't see any snipers out there but we'll keep Maggie on watch."
Daryl stepped forward, "I can go up to the guard tower, take out half them walkers, give these guys a chance to fix the fence."
"Or use some of the cars to put the bus in place." Michonne added.
"We can't access the field without burning through our bullets." Hershel explained.
"So we're trapped in here." Glenn started, "There's barely any food or ammo."
"We've been here before, we'll be alright." Daryl tried to reassure Glenn but it did not work.
"That's when it was just us." Glenn paused and looked at Daryl, "Before there was a snake in the nest."
Alexis knew he was talking about Merle, they all knew. She knew that Merle being here is a bad idea, and she was mad with him about all the these he did, but she can't just ask Daryl to kick his brother out.
"Man, we gonna go through this again? Look, Merle's staying here. He's with us now, get used to it." Daryl explained.
"Hey." Rick started trying to calm him down.
"All y'all." Daryl added to his previous comment before walking upstairs.
Rick sighed looking at Alexis, but she was already making her move from where she was standing, walking up the stairs behind Daryl. He was up on the walkway, leaning against the railing. Alexis walked up and put a hand on his shoulder trying to calm him down. "Listen, I don't think Rick would kick out your brother. Some people may not be happy about it, but I wouldn't worry about it."
"Are you one of those people?" Daryl asked.
Alexis looked at Daryl before leaning on the rails with him, "Yes and no." Alexis sighed out. "I'm mad at him for what he did to Glenn but he' s your brother, so at the same time I'm trying not too, but no offense I've know Glenn my whole life so I can't stand against him."
Daryl nodded, "I understand that. It's the same with me and Merle."
"Merle and I." Alexis corrected, making Daryl look up at her with a 'not amused face.' Alexis started laughing, "Sorry."
Daryl just smirked before looking down again, "I appreciate you being truthful about how you feel in the situation. You're one of the only ones beside Glenn, Maggie and Rick. Y'all are the only ones who really talk to be about it."
"I'm just too nice of a person to hold grudges. Well except for some people." Alexis said, brushing her hand over her wound.
Daryl noticed Carol walking up the stairs and looked down at Alexis, "Would you mind if I talked to Carol in private? She's probably mad at me." Daryl sighed.
Alexis patted his shoulder before walking off, "Don't say something mean."
Daryl scoffed at her comment walking into his room. Him finally agreeing to sleep in a cell.
Alexis walked over to her room Lexa putting a few things in her bag. "What are you doing?"
Lexa threw more stuff in her bag. "Well since you and Daryl are a thing now, I figured.-"
"Woah, woah what? A thing? No." Alexis stumbled out. "We just kissed once."
Lexa raised her brows.
"Okay twice! It doesn't matter we really never said about being.." Alexis paused trying to find the right words. "Together."
