Once Rick and Alexis walked back in the building, Rick pulled Daryl to talk to him privately while Alexis walked towards Sasha who was sitting on a chair bleeding. "You okay?" Alexis asked, staring at Sasha's injury.

"Yes, what happened to him?" Sasha asked.

Alexis stared down at the ground, "He didn't stop running, so...." She glanced over at Rick who was still talking to Daryl. Just by that Sasha knew what she meant, "He's gone."

Rick and Daryl walked over to the group where the other two cops sat, "He was a good man." Shepherd spoke, looking up at Rick. "He was attacked by rotters. Saw it go down."

"Huh." Rick muttered, understanding what she's trying to say. The two cops wouldn't tell their boss about what happened. "You're a damn good liar."

"We're hanging by a thread here. He was attacked by rotters, that's the story." Shepherd explained.

"You said the trade was a bad idea." Daryl replied, before looking at the girl with a glare. "What changed?"

"Lamson was our shot." she stated, looking at them with a worried look. "So it's this or you go in guns blazing, right? You don't want that."

Daryl stepped forward, "If this is some bullshit you're spinning and things go south-."

"I know!" she exclaimed, "I know the good ones from the bad." she turned to Rick. "Let us help you."

"It could work." Alexis spoke up, staring at her leader. "We don't need to kill anyone else." she stated, her eyes evading his when he looked at her.

Rick turned his attention towards the male cop, "What about you? You wanna live?"

"Dawn's afraid she'll look weak in front of us." he replied, staring up at Rick with no emotion. "Thinks it'll tip things against her." he grinned, "Hell, it will. She'll see this trade as a rip-off if she thinks you took out one of our guys." he looked back up at Rick, "So it's a good thing Lamson got aced by rotters."

The sound of someone's radio popping on made the group look at the walkie, "Shepherd, Lamson what's you twenty? I need status on that gunfire. Do you copy?" a women said. "Does anybody copy?" she stated.

Rick looked at the group, "We don't answer." he looked at the ground and wiped his face before walking towards the cops, "Here's what we do."

Later that day the group stood on top of a parking garage where Shepherd said some officers make rounds. Rick was going to wait for the car to approach and tell them about the deal, two of them for Beth and Carol.

Daryl slowly walked up to Alexis who was sitting against the wall and handed her a rifle, "You alright?"

Alexis nodded, grabbing the gun from his hand. "I'm fine." she stated, not trying to look at him.

Daryl crouched down and looked at her, "What's going on?"

Alexis said nothing as she grabbed her rifle and stood up, looking at the leader before looking back towards Daryl. "nothing, I'm fine."

He looked her her confused, "Alexis-"

"Guys they're here." Sasha stated, looking at Rick though her scope as the cops got out of the car and aimed a weapon at him.

The group watched as they tried to negotiate but the sight of a walker stalking towards them made Alexis nudge Sasha, "You take it." she said, looking at the woman's silenced weapon. Sasha nodded before changing where her scope aimed. The walker fell to the ground as both the cops flinched and looked around. "Nice shot."
