Lexa stood at the back of the barn, watching as Ethan sat in the middle of the ground staring up at the sky. She furrowed her browns when she noticed that he was pointing at the sky. Curiosity got that best of her so she walked forward and let out a sigh when she sat next to him, crossing her legs like she was in Kindergarten again. "What are you doing, kiddo?" Lexa asked, staring up at the sky.
Ethan kept looking up at something before his eyes shifted to Lexa, "I'm counting." he stated, turning his attention back up to the sky. "It's very hard." he frowned, falling backwards onto his back and once again started counting.
Lexa knew there wasn't anyone watching them, she went deep searching in the woods so she shrugged her shoulders and fell back with him. "What are you trying to count, I could help." Lexa stated, trying to find out what he possibly could be counting since the only thing she could see was the clouds. There's no way he would count all of those.
"The clouds." he replied, a smile on his face. Lexa held in a laugh when she realized that she was wrong and he was actually trying to count the clouds in the sky. "But there's just too many!" he exclaimed, his arms outstretching with exaggeration.
"Well I would help you but that' s physically and mentally impossible. Why are you even counting clouds to begin with?" Lexa asked, chuckling at the little boy's new obsession with counting things. She's noticed that he has been counting a lot of random things since after the prison attack.
He stopped counting and crossed his arms. "Alexis made a game where we'd just start counting things. I've been doing it when I'm scared or bored." he paused for a moment, a serious look on his face. "I'm bored."
She laughed, "That's a good way to keep yourself occupied." Lexa said, but she sat up when she heard cars pulling in. "Hey they're back." she smiled, watching as Ethan was fast to get up.
His feet quickly carrying him to the person he wanted to see, "You're back!" he exclaimed, hugging Alexis's legs. Her smiled grew bright when she looked down at the boy.
Lexa watched the two with a smile as she noticed them all carrying a bunch of canned foods and water into the barn from the van so she decided to help.
Once everyone was back inside with all of the food and water Rick picked up a can and walked towards Aaron, "This is ours now."
"There's more than enough." Aaron sighed, trying to tell Rick that he understands.
"It's ours whether or not we go to your camp." Rick replied.
"What do you mean? Why wouldn't we go?" Carl asked, stepping forward.
Michonne also stepped forward, "If he were lying, or if wanted to hurts us... but he isn't and he doesn't. We need this, so we're going... all of us. Somebody say something if they feel differently."
No one spoke, they all just shook their heads in agreement with Michonne.
"I don't know man." Daryl replied, staring up at Rick. "This barn smells like horse shit."
"Yeah, we're going." Rick replied, making everyone smile. He turned to look at Aaron. "So where are we going, where is your camp?"
"Well, every time I've done this I've been behind the wheel driving recruits back." Aaron paused, trying to word his sentence right. "I believe you're good people, I've bet my life on it. I'm just not ready to bet my friends lives just yet."
Michonne stepped forward in front of Aaron while Rick grabbed the map, "You're not driving." she said, staring down at the man. "So if you want to get home, you'll have to tell us how."
Aaron looked over to Rick, the leader staring at the map. "Go north on Route sixteen."
"And then?" Michonne asked.
