(AN: Okay some I'm like really bad at writing lovey dove stuff so forgive me if it's bad.)

The sun shined through the window as Alexis walked around their new house that they got. She stared down at the bed in the one room with a slight grin as she threw herself down onto the comfortable bed with a heavy sigh. She grabbed the spare clothes that they were given before letting out a groan, getting up from her spot and heading towards the bathroom. Alexis quickly turned on the water and hopped in, letting a smile place itself on her face when the hot water hit her.

Blood and mud washed off her body and down the drain as she massaged her hair with the soap and water. The smell of peach hitting her nose once she opened the body wash. Once she was cleaned she turned off the water and wrapped a towel around herself, her eyes traveling to the fogged up mirror. Alexis's hand moved back and forth as she wiped the mirror to the point where she can actually see herself. The way she looked at herself made her feel weird, it's been awhile since she had a clear face.

She got changed into a grey t-shirt, jeans and her boots before she made her way out of the bathroom where Daryl sat on the bed, his head going up as soon as the door opened. "hey."

"Hi." she smiled, walking up to him and giving him a kiss. "Did you shower?"

"Yup, Carol threatened me that I either shower or she'll spray me with a hose." he mumbled, messing with his boots.

"Okay then." Alexis started, pulling his hands away from the boots and putting herself next to him. "Do you think we are safe here?"

"Well Rick think-."

"Daryl." Alexis interrupted, making the man look at her in the eyes. "Do you... think we are safe here? I didn't ask what Rick thinks, I want to know what you think."

She noticed how Daryl's eyes scanned hers before he turned to look out the window, the sun starting to set beneath the walls of the community. "I don't know yet."

Alexis didn't say anything, she just grabbed his hands into hers and gave him a look of reassurance. Then for a moment it was quiet as the two sat there, no one moved, no one talked. Alexis turned to Daryl but his gaze was already on her, she lifted her brow with a smile. "What?"

Daryl moved his face forward and pressed their lips together. The two of them immediately fell backwards causing Alexis to let out a chuckle. She felt Daryl's hands move to her waist where he ran his hands under her shirt. This is the first time they really got to do anything like this since the prison, though a small knock caused them both to pull away.

Alexis groaned before she pushed Daryl off of her, quickly standing up and walking to the door where she opened it. "Oh." she muttered, staring down at a now clean Ethan. "Hey bud."

Daryl was laying on the bed with his elbows propping himself up, he laid his head back in exhaustion when he realized who it was.

"Rick told me to tell you guys that we are sleeping downstairs." Ethan explained, his eyes moving to where Daryl was sitting. The little boy waved, causing Daryl to just raise one of his hands.

Alexis looked back at Daryl with a smile before turning back to the boy. "Why don't you go play with Carl, we'll be down in a little bit."

Ethan smiled. "Okay, bye bye." he said, walking down the hall.

Alexis slowly closed the door and put her back against it. They both let out a little laugh when they saw each other's faces. "That was interesting."

"Hey at least he knocked." Daryl mumbled, propping himself up with one elbow while he laid on his side. His eyes watching as she made her way back to the bed.
