(A few weeks before the current time.)

Alexis woke from her sleep due to Daryl, who slowly shook her arm. She woke up with a slight groan looking up at Daryl with hatred in her eyes, "Don't look at me like that you're the one who wanted to start waking up earlier." Daryl stated, glaring down at her.

Alexis smiled, "I know, I know." She said sitting up while stretching. "I appreciate it, I just didn't enjoy last nights sleep." she explained.

Daryl looked down at her confused, "Why not?"

Alexis slightly chuckled, "Nightmares."

Daryl looked at her with a kinda shocked expression, "I'm surprised you didn't wake up from it."

Alexis got up from the bed, "Nah, I've been able to control some nightmares."

Daryl slightly chuckled, "Controlling your nightmares?"

Alexis hesitated, "Yeah, when my brother died I would always have very bad nightmares. My parents sent me to a physiologist and after many lessons the only way I can have bad nightmares again is if I'm sick or really upset." Alexis paused, "It's kinda complicated."

Daryl patted her shoulder, "Well if you need someone to help you with the nightmares, you know I'm here." He said, pulling her into a hug, squeezing her tight.

Alexis wrapped her arms around him and put her head against his shoulder, "Same with you."

The two walked downstairs together to breakfast, they both grabbed a bowl and sat down at the table made for many people, but they were the first ones there. After about ten minutes Rick came down and sat next to Daryl with his bowl, the two having their bromance time, to be honest  Alexis felt kinda like a third wheel when she listened to their conversation about things she didn't know. After a few minutes went by Lexa joined them, then Glenn and Maggie, Beth, Dylan and a few others from Woodbury that they met along the way, Sasha, Karen, Tyresse and Patrick all joined the table everyone laughing and having conversations about problems around the prison or just friendly talk. Alexis looked around with a smile as everyone around her had a smile on their face too, well except for Glenn who kept avoiding Alexis's eye contact and conversations with her. She has noticed this for awhile but never said anything to him.

When they were all done eating, Alexis decided that she was going to ask him to talk, "Hey Glenn." Alexis said, making Glenn freeze for a second.

"Hey." He muttered.

Maggie looked at the two with a slight frown before she looked at Glenn, "I'm going to help Beth with Judith. You two talk." Maggie hinted at Alexis before walking off with her sister.

Alexis looked at Glenn confused, "What's wrong, i've noticed you've been avoiding me." Alexis said, letting out a slight sigh.

Glenn grabbed her arm and dragged her somewhere where they were by themselves. He stopped when they reached the library, he let go of her arm and kept his back to her, trying to find the right words. He took a deep breath and turned around, "Alexis."

"Yes?" Alexis asked, confused.

"Do you...." He paused. "Has Lexa become your new best friend?!"

Alexis looked at him with a serious look, "Seriously?" Alexis asked, crossing her arms.

Glenn looked confused, "Yes?" he then gasped, "IT'S TRUE THEN!"

Alexis didn't mean too, but she laughed. At this point she was bent down crying from laughter by Glenn's high school like question. "Glenn." Alexis breathed, wiping her tears from her eyes and walking up to Glenn pulling him into a hug which he grateful took. "Me and Lexa may be close at the moment, but you have years on her. I've known you since high school."
