The group waited for the three people to return to the group but when only Rick returned things seemed dark. Everyone went quiet and didn't speak a word as Rick, Shane, Glenn and Daryl went back to where he left Sophia and Alexis.

"You sure it was this spot?" Daryl asked, looking at the tiny area.

"I left them right here, I drew the walkers way off in that direction up the creek. When I got back she was gone, I figured they took off and went back to the group. I told Alexis to go back to the highway, she heard me so I figured they would get back before I did." Rick explains.

Daryl notices footprints on the ground next to Glenn, "Hey, short round, why don't you step off to one side, you're mucking up the trail."

"You sure she heard you?" Shane asked.

"She heard me just fine." Rick replies harshly.

"I got clear prints here, they did what you said and headed back to the highway. Let's spread out. They couldn't have gone far." Daryl says walking up the hill towards the footprints.

The boys follow Daryl as he leads the group through the path that the two took, "They were doing just fine till right here. I think the walkers got to them." Daryl explained looking at the many footprints on the ground. Rick sent Shane and Glenn back to the highway as Daryl and Rick kept following the paths of the girls. "I think they split up here." Daryl explained looking at the two different footprint tracks. "These are Sophia's tracks, and this is Alexis's. It looks like the walkers followed her."

"Then we should find Sophia first, right?" Rick asked, looking at the little girl's path.

Daryl looked between the two paths and sighed, "Yeah, let's go."

Alexis woke with a beating headache, she groaned as she sat up. A blanket that laid on her was now on the ground as she stood up, using a tree for balance, her ankle pulsed in pain as she stood on it. When she looked around she noticed a tiny fire was currently burning beside her, a small tent beside it. There was a log right next to the fire, possibly a seat. Ropes circled this camp with cans on some of the parts of the string. When she went to take a step forward her ankle cracked making her cry out and fall down. Alexis grabbed her ankle and slowly rolled up her pant leg, when looking at her ankle she saw how it was wrapped in a white bandage with black and blue marks right at the edge of her foot. Leave crunched to her right, making the girl crawl behind the tree she was trying to stay out of the view of whatever was coming her way. Her breathing was rushed as she tried hard to try and breathe, the footsteps got closer and closer until they stopped behind her.

"You aren't hiding very well." A voice says, behind the tree. Alexis looks at the direction of the voice and sees a girl around the same age as her standing in front of her, she has short brown hair and light brown eyes. A bow and arrow laid on her back as she held a few bags in her hands. The mystery woman puts the bags down and offers Alexis her hand, "You feeling okay?"

Alexis looks at the girl hesitantly and slowly nods, "Where am I? And who are you?" Alexis asked, taking her hand and getting pulled up.

"My name's Lexa and you're at my camp." She says as she wraps Alexis's one arm around her neck and helps her over to the log by the fire. "I found you at the bottom of a hill, you're lucky I got to you before the dead did. There were a few chasing you, when I saw you knocked out on the ground and the two of the dead were coming at you I knew I couldn't just leave you there."

Alexis sighed but instantly tried to get back up, "I need to go, I have to find her. Oh my god, how long was i out?"

"A few hours? It is a few hours from midnight, maybe seven in the morning?" Lexa questioned herself.
