¨Disoriented, I guess that comes closest. Disoriented. Fear, confusion, all those things but, disoriented comes closest.¨ Officer Friendly 2.0 said.

Rick went on about what happened to him and what Carl said next made Alexis come back to the conversation, ¨Mom said you died.΅

¨She had every reason to believe that, don't you ever doubt it.¨ Rick says.

Alexis felt the need to flee from the awkward tension between the campfire so she excused herself from the fire and headed to her tent. When she got inside her tent she saw a bag and a note.

'Thanks for being my friend, hope you like this.' Jacqui

Alexis smiled and looked into the bag to reveal a necklace with the hufflepuff badger on it. Alexis gasped and her inner Harry Potter geek came out. She ran too where Jacqui was and ingulfed her in a hug, ¨Thank you, thank you, thank you!' Alexis repeats making the older women laugh.

¨No problem. I saw it and it reminded me of you so I grabbed it.¨ Jacqui explained.

The two girls stayed quiet and sat at the fire until Alexis watched as Ed and Shane got into an argument about Ed putting an extra log into the fire, but her attention went back to Dale when he starts talking, ¨Has anyone given a thought about Daryl Dixon, he won't be happy ot hear his brother was left behind.¨

¨I'll tell him, I dropped the key and that's on me.¨ T-dog said.

¨I don't think that's the best idea.¨ Alexis said making everyone turn to her.

¨And what is a good idea in your eyes Alexis?¨ Shane asked sarcastically.

¨Let me talk to him.¨

Shane scoffed and everyone just ignored the girl.

¨I cuffed him, I'll tell him.¨ Rick says.

¨Guys, it's not a competition. I don't mean to bring race into this, but it might sound better coming from a white guy, or Alexis.¨ Glenn said giving the girl a smile.

¨I did what I did. Hell if i'm going to hide from it.¨ T-dog says.

¨We could lie,¨ Amy butts in.

¨Or we could tell the truth. Merle was out of control, something had to be done or he'd have gotten us killed. Your husband did what was necessary And if Merle got left behind, it is nobody's fault but Merle's.¨ Andrea said.

¨How is that Merle fault, you guys had time to go back for him. If T-dog had time to go back, trip, drop the key and then grab everything and run away. You could have all helped him, but no you all ran. Whatever or however Daryl reacts is on you guys.¨ Alexis says getting up and heading back to her tent, she has to say she isn't a big fan of the group at the moment. Merle may be annoying and a bad guy, but he's Daryl's brother, and no one should be left behind like that.

The group watched as the girl retreated to her tent and they all looked at each other with sad faces, ¨So that's what we tell Daryl? I don't see a rational discussion to be had from that, do you? Word to the wise, we're going to have a handful when he gets back from his hunt.΅ Dale says.

¨Alexis is right, I was scared and I ran. I'm not ashamed of it.¨ T-dog says.

¨We all ran, what's your point?¨ Andrea asked.

¨I stopped long enough to chain that door. Staircase is narrow, maybe half a dozen geeks can squeeze against it at any one time, but it's not enough to break the chain. My point is that Dixon's alive and he's still up there handcuffed on that roof. Alexis is right, that's on us.¨ T-dog explains and then stands up and walks away.
