Alexis was the first one to get off of the bed and out in the hall. The girl not even caring if she was in nothing but an oversized shirt and shorts.

When she got out there she saw Carl coming out at the same time. Carl had a gun pointed at Jesus's head. "What the hell are you doing in our house?"

"I'm uh, sitting on the steps?" Jesus replied sarcastically. "I'm looking at this painting and waiting for you mom and dad to get dressed."

'Mom?' Alexis thought, her eyebrow raising with confusion. When she looked at the boy he also had a similar expression on his face.

"Hi, I'm Jesus." Jesus stated, a smirk on his face.

Though before she could speak, her question from earlier was answered when both Rick and Michonne came out of the same room, their footsteps paused when they saw Carl there. Alexis's jaw dropped when she saw that the father had no shirt on, the look of shame was on his face as he made eye contact with his son.

"Carl, hi...um." Rick stuttered.

Alexis looked over at Michonne and gave her a thumbs up, yet the other woman just awkward turned a shade of red while she glared at Alexis. Daryl, Glenn, and Abraham all appeared with weapons in their hands but Michonne spoke.

"It's- it's okay." she stated, trying to make everyone put their weapons away; Abraham being the only one who lowered his gun.

"You said we should talk." Rick started, looking at the man who sat on the steps. "So let's talk."

Everyone got properly dressed and situated and made their way downstairs to the dining room, the light shined into the window as Rick stared at Jesus. "So how did you get out?"

"One guard can't cover two exits." Jesus replied, before looking up. "Or a third floor window." he took a breath. "Knots untie and locks get pick. Entropy comes from order, right?"

"Right." Daryl spoke, anger in his voice.

"I checked out your arsenal, I haven't seen anything like that in a long time. You're well-equipped, but your provisions are low. Very low for the amount of people you have, fifty-four?" Jesus asked Rick.

"More than that." Maggie stated, her arms crossed as she glared at the man from the other side of the table.

"Well, i appreciate the cookie, my compliments to the chef." Jesus said.

Daryl stepped forward a bit, "Yeah, she ain't here."

Jesus turned to Daryl, "Look we got off on a bad start. But we're on the same side... the living side. You, Rick, Alexis and the boy had every reason to leave me out there, but you didn't. I'm from a place that's a lot like this one. Part of my job is searching out other settlements to trade with. I took your truck because my community needs things, you two men looked like trouble, Alexis was very intimidating... and i didn't think much of the boy when he showed up, really wasn't expecting that to be a trap."

Alexis was in disbelief for a moment, "You thought i was intimidating?"

"A bit." Jesus replied with a smirk, before letting out a sigh. "But i was wrong, you're good people. And this is a good place. I think our communities may be in a position to help each other."

"Do you have food?" Glenn asked.

"We've started to raise livestock, we scavenge, we grow everything from tomatoes to sorghum." Jesus replied.

"Tell us why we should believe you." Rick stated.

"I'll show you. If we take a car, i can take you back home in a day. And you can all see for yourselves who we are and what we have to offer." Jesus explained.
