The air was tight as the people of Alexandria sat on their knees, all of them sweating and breathing heavy as the sound of the gravel below them filled their ears if they dared to moved. The bright light shinning on all of them as the Saviors surrounded them.

Their plan to get Maggie safely to The Hilltop failed, the sick woman struggling to stay up on her knees as she looked at her husband in horror. None of them knew what to do in this situation as the real Negan stood in front of them, and they all knew it was the real Negan. Lexa's face was enough proof for all of them.

Negan shuffled his feet as he looked around at the group with a cocky smile like a kid in a candy store. He was excited for this, he couldn't wait to scare every single person more than he already has. The man was no human; at least not anymore. The human emotion inside him was gone as he looked at them like prey, like all of this was sport.

Alexis stared at the ground below her as she held onto her wound on her arm, not daring to look up at the man. If she would look anywhere it would be at Daryl. Her husband who seemed to be trying to think of a way out of this situation. The same man who at the same time would take peaks at everyone to see how they were holding up, yet when he looked at everyone all he saw was how broken they all seemed. How little of hope they had left in this moment.

How could they all get out of this alive? Who isn't going to be able to go back home?

Lexa knew she was not going to see Alexandra by the morning, either if it's due to her dying here or getting taken by her uncle. The girl was slightly terrified at the thought of how her uncle could turn into the thing in front of them. How he could do all the things Hilltop said he did, what his men did to their people.... even the people she called family now. Negan Smith was always a deadbeat person, so how did he end up like this? Is her aunt alive? Is she also apart of this twisted reality of his?

The silence was finally broken when Negan chucked. "It's gonna be pee-pee pants city here real soon." The man spoke as he took heavy steps, scanning the people one by one, stopping in front of Lexa. "Holy shit!" He exclaimed, leaning down to smile at her. "Alexandra, is that you?" He raised her face with his bat. "Oh my have you grown."

"It's Lexa, and I'm not surprised since I was fifteen the last time you saw me."

"How old are you now?"

"Twenty-four."

"God damn!" Negan yelled as he got up and spun around. "Nine years sure does fly by you." he joked, pointing at his niece. "We have catching up to do." The man then pointed to a man, moving his finger back to Lexa and then towards the van she was just in. "Keep her there."

"No! Let me go you asshole!" Lexa shouted as she was dragged to the van.

Alexis shuffled a bit but Abraham grabbed her hand to stop her. The man squeezing it to make sure she was okay. "Don't." he muttered.

"I promised." Alexis whispered back with glossy eyes.

"We'll get her back."

Negan looked around at the rest of them. "Which one of you pricks is the leader?"

"It's this one." A savior said, pointing at Rick. "He's the guy."

Negan walked over to Rick and stared down at him, his wired bat resting on his shoulder. The man let out a sigh, a smile on his face. "Hi... you're Rick, right? I'm Negan. And I do not appreciate you killing my men." He had a serious look on his face. "Also, when I sent my people to kill your people for killing my people, you killed more of my people. Not cool... not cool. You have no idea how not cool that shit is, but I think you're gonna be up to speed shortly."
