After Alexis put Ethan to bed she walked out to the main area, Rick walking up to her. He gave her a slight smile before he looked back towards the room where Carl, Ethan and Judith were at. He sighed while looking at the woman, "You're not gonna like this." he started, looking behind him to the group that was getting ready to walk out of the church. "I need you to-"

"I need you to stay with the kids, blah, blah blah. I get it Rick." she stated, "I'm just the designated babysitter." she sighed, heading back into the room where a few others sat. The sound of the door closing behind her and the lock clicking made her get ready. Alexis pushed all the kids towards the back of the room, waiting for the plan to come into action.

Rosita explained how the group was going to make Gareth's group think they left to go to the school, but instead they were going to hide in the woods. Rick knew Gareth's group would attack while most the people were gone, and with the sound of the main church door opening after Rick's group left Alexis knew he was right. The sounds of footsteps made Alexis grab the pistol from Carl and aim it at the door.

"Well I guess you know we're here." Gareth spoke, his voice echoing through the church. "And we know you're here."

Alexis looked back at Carl who holding Ethan to him, trying to comfort the boy. "Everyone stay quiet." she whispered, looking at the boys.

"We're armed, so there's really no point in hiding anymore." He started, the sounds of quiet footsteps creaking on the floor made Alexis get closer to the door. "We've been watching you so we know who's here." he stated. "There's Bob.. unless you put him out of his misery already. And Eugene, Rosita, Martin's good friend Tyreese, Alexis, Ethan,  Carl, and Judith. Rick and the rest walked out." Gareth yelled, making Alexis's grip tighten on her gun handle, her eyes not leaving the door.  "Listen, we don't know where you all are but this isn't a big place.  So, let's just stop this now before things get more painful than they need to be."

The door shook, making everyone aim their weapons carefully. Alexis pushed the kids back and stepped forward, her body lining up with the crack in the door. "Look, you're behind one of these two doors and we have more than enough firepower to take down both. I can't imagine that's what you want. Alexis I know you're not Ethan's mother but he's like your own child, I'll let the two of you go. With the baby of course." he stated, trying to think of ways to persuade her to come out. "How about the priest? Father you help us wrap this up and we'll let you walk away from this.  Just open the door and you can go, you can even take the baby with you. What do you say?"

It was quiet for a second before Judith started crying, Alexis hurried to point at Judith. Carl ran towards the baby and tried to comfort her as the sounds of footsteps made Alexis go into protective mode. She stood there like a mother bear in front of her cubs until she heard thuds from outside.

Alexis heard the sound of Rick's voice as she slowly opened the door to walk out, handing the gun  to Carl and replacing the weapon in her hand to a knife as she walked towards the leader. Rick watched the girl carefully as she put the knife to Gareth's throat, "The man and the women that you saw drive off, what direction did they go towards?"

Gareth laughed up at the woman, "Why should I tell you?" he smirked.

Alexis pressed the knife tighter to his throat, "WHICH DIRECTION?!" she screamed, making Gareth flinch.

"Towards Atalanta!" another man yelled, before looking at his leader. "They drove towards Atlanta, they were following another car."

Alexis looked up at Rick before pushing Gareth on his knees as Rick walked forward. The woman walked back towards the room and closed the door. The sounds of their hushed voices continuing to talk for a few minutes gave Alexis the time to think about the events that would happen after. The sounds of screaming and grunting made Alexis cover Ethan's ears as Tyreese opened the door to see what was going on, but when he came back to the group with a horrified look on his face she knew that it probably wasn't pretty. Ethan let out a quiet sob as he held on tight to the woman.
