Alexis walked out with a sickened look as she watched them tear up her home. The Saviors took almost all of their stuff, a lot of stuff that they needed. It was hard to watch but she knew she couldn't start anything if she didn't want herself or anyone else she cared for to die. The woman started walking down the street, trying to figure out what they were all taking and what they had left after this raid.

"Alexis." A small voice said, making her turn to see Enid has started walking beside her. "Rick is looking for missing guns. Do you have one?"

"No."

"Negan is keeping Olivia until it shows up and into his hands. We need to stop this, right?"

Alexis nodded. "We do. Just not yet, if we try something someone could get hurt." That's when she noticed the green balloons in the girls hands. It made her heart hurt for a moment, thinking back to the memory of her lost friend, the day that the walls fell. It seemed like so long ago now. "You still have them." Enid looked at her confused, causing Alexis to point her head at her hand. "The balloons."

Enid looked down. "Oh... yeah, I just felt like I needed to keep them." she took in a little breath. "It makes me feel connected to him a bit more, you know?"

Alexis smiled. "Yeah I get it." She stopped in her tracks, pulling her shirt down to reveal her collarbone. A tattoo laid on it, one Enid has never noticed before. It was a tiny smiley face. Alexis laughed. "I lost a bet when we were twenty-one, alcohol was definitely involved. Glenn told me if I lost he got to pick out my second tattoo, it was between this and a pizza slice."

"Second?"

She nodded. "Yup, got one on my leg as a tribute to my brother. He was gone before the apocalypse."

"I wish I could have a tattoo."

Alexis chuckled. "Maybe one day. I heard Samantha was an artist before. Don't know if it was legal though."

Enid was going to speak yet she was interrupted when a few men stopped them, the same man that Carl was threatening earlier stepped forward. He looked creepily down at Enid, snatching the balloon's out of her hand. "Hey!"

"Balloon? You going to a party, little girl?" He asked.

"Can I keep them, please?" She took a tiny step back as she continued. "It's just... let me keep them."

The man stepped closer. "Say please again, little girl."

Alexis noticed Rick, Carl and Gabriel just watching from afar. Her fists squeeze together tightly.

Enid swallowed angrily. "Please."

He stepped forward, dragging a finger with the hand with the balloons down her face. "Yeah, one more time."

Alexis stepped between them, pushing him back slightly. "That's enough." Her protecting instincts kicking in as she stood in front of the girl, not letting the man get another glimpse of her.

The man smiled. "Oh, yeah? Is that so... I don't see you offering anything in return for these."

"I don't have anything."

He looked at her chest. "I think you do."

Alexis looked down and saw her ring was hanging from the necklace, not tucked into her shirt like it usually is. She bit her cheek, surly drawling blood. Her hands slowly reached up and unclasped the chain, dangling the precious jewel in front of him. When he went to grab it she pulled it back sternly looking at him as she put out her hand. "The balloons... now."

The man chuckled, letting the balloons fall to the ground instead of in her hand. Grabbing the necklace harshly he looked at Enid. "Be careful, little girl."
