Peace. Sparkles. Happiness. That's how to describe it.
You and Satoru, drifting forever in this space. A world where only the two of you exist.
There is no time here. No day, no night. Only you, Satoru and infinity.
Between the kisses and loving you catch subtle moments of appreciation, before getting thrust into another wave of wonder.
It's not only your heart that has opened up, but Satoru's too. You explore it—like Alice lost in Wonderland's forest. His heart tells you things about him that you can only internalize through feelings. You realize that the purity you saw before was really just a collection of a cascade of experiences, all blended together in the most harmonious way to appear to you as this pure, beautiful light. But this was much different than that. This was not a purity you get from being clean, perfect, untarnished. This was a purity built on complexities. Satoru was one big complexity, and the more you explored the less you knew; the more you wanted to know. You really could've stayed there forever, just experiencing him.
But eventually, you wake out of this dream of eternity. The man himself is still asleep beside you. You gaze upon him with new eyes. His heart no longer appears as one white light. Now even waking you can see all the different colours dancing within. Little strands of blue at moments peeking their head; a mystical chrome-like lavender, flicking in and out like a dragon flying through the misty sky; and colours you can't even give a name, all dancing within each other.
You are totally entranced. You have no clue how long you spend staring.
Eventually, you pull yourself away, for fear of completely losing touch with reality. You sigh and plant a kiss on Satoru's cheek. Your beautiful king doesn't stir. He breathes softly, his perfect features relaxed in an almost childlike expression.
You reach out to stroke his snow-white hair. You wonder what it must've been like for him growing up as the strongest sorcerer, having all those eyes on him, everyone knowing his name. As if you asked the question directly, the answer comes as an intuitive knowing to your brain.
You remember your night together and sigh again. Reality really wasn't much different than the dream.
You decide to let him rest as you slip out to stretch your legs.
The jewelry he got you the night before catches your eye. You walk over to the mantel and try them on. It's weird, as you slip them on it's like you can hear every one of his thoughts as he was having them designed out.
Is this what it's like to be completely connected to someone? you wonder.
You slip the gold armband on your left wrist, and the silver cuff on your right, then stretch your arms out in front of you to observe. They suit you perfectly.
And then you realize with a smile, that even before all this, Satoru always knew exactly what was in your heart. You keep the bracelets on as if they are melded in your skin now.
You turn to look back at Satoru's sleeping body. Before you may have felt guilty for venturing out without waking him, but now it's like you know—even when you're not physically together, you'll never really be apart.
As you step outside, the dewy chill in the air tells you it's still morning. You're not really sure where you're going, just that you need to stretch your legs. You have so much energy. Maybe you can do some investigating in the manner that brought you two here, and surprise Satoru by having all of your troubles sorted out by the time he wakes up. You smile. It was a nice thought.
You look up toward the mysterious cloud, but unfortunately this new insight you have doesn't extend beyond Satoru. The shape seems to have grown a little, but besides that, it doesn't seem to be an immediate threat. So what about that curse that harmed the boy?
