Training with Gojo continues. Things run as smoothly as they possibly can with your eccentric, hotshot of a teacher, but you still have a lot of unanswered questions. As amazing as Gojo is, there are some things that even he is unable to answer. Along the way, you begin to experience many frustrations. Frustrations, for example, like this one...

You are kneeling on the ground, panting. In front of you, a little "fly" curse bounces back and forth. For the past hour you have been chasing it around, attempting to perform your special technique: True Source Revival—the ability to grab onto the essence of a curse and pull it out.

However, just like Sukuna, this curse's heart is an empty black void. Though not as menacing as the king of curses, it still leaves you with nothing to grasp on to. That red light you saw those first two times on the day of your 'accident', and on the day of the cursed womb you can't find it. On top of that, you have to try really hard to contain your energy. If enough spills out you will end up exorcising the curse before getting a chance to perform the technique. This results in you lowering your guard, opening yourself up to attacks from the hasty little thing. You are about to fend off one of those attacks now when Gojo steps in between you.

"Yeah, this isn't working," he says. "Maybe it has to do with size... do you want a bigger one?"

You blink up at Gojo, dazed. "What?"

"Probably," he says. "Bigger is better right?" He collects the little fly curse and returns it to its cage before turning back to you. "Come with me."

"Hold up—" But it's too late, Gojo's hand is already on your collar.

The scene before you flashes away and you land in a dark space. The presence of curse amplifies around you. You fight off a moment of vertigo.

Teleportation—it is proving to be more annoying than it is impressive.

You look up and hold back a scream.

It's not the 'curse' part of the curse that scares you, but the form it's in. It towers at least 10 feet above you, one large, round body, balanced on 8 long legs. On the top of its body are two rows of beady eyes, which roll around until they focus on you.

It is a curse in the form of a spider. A really, really, big one.

At its core, is the black cloud of regressing energy, that you're beginning to associate with a curse's heart.

You shriek.

The spider-curse looks just as surprised to see you suddenly appear before him.

"Is this big enough?" Gojo says.

"Gojo!!" You scramble to your feet.

Gojo frowns. "Bigger?"

"N-no, it's just... I hate spiders."

Gojo glances over at you. "Oh? Really?" he says. "Haha, how unlucky!" He slaps you on the back. "Well better get used to it, if you get this right he'll be your new friend from now on."

Right, he brought you here so you could work on your new technique, but... "Seriously, why does it have to be a spider?"

"Is that a complaint I hear?"

You pout. "No..."

"Good, 'cause it looks like he's starting to get angry."

At his words, something whizzes in between you two.

You look back to watch the thing zoom through the air and splatters against the wall behind you. It is a web, condensed in the form of a bullet.

Grossss.
