Chapter 36- dismissed

It was coming close to summer and the soldiers always have a break around summer time, although this was quite a devastating time for some of the members,
"Is everyone packed" said price, "if you leave anything you won't get to have it back till the end of summer" said price,
"Simon? You ready?" Said soap, "yes.. we need to get your stuff mostly together as your moving into my apartment" said Ghost, "I forgot about that" said soap while scratching the back of his neck.

Everyone went to main area and said their goodbyes before leaving to go home for their holidays, Ghost and soap got in their car and drove to Ghosts apartment.

"Warning, I have had someone In my apartment while I'm working so they can look after things while I'm gone" said Ghost while unloading the car, "well ain't that nice" said soap, "come, let's take this up" said Ghost while grabbing a huge load of boxes, once they got to Ghosts apartment, he unlocked the door and placed the boxes in, "Hm, the person who was looking after the place must have went out" said Ghost, "they'll be back soon" said Ghost, soap admired Ghosts apartment but didn't say anything, "make yourself at home Johnny" said Ghost while hugging soap from behind.

-Time skip-

Soap and Ghost were sitting on the sofa watching tv, when there was a knock at the door, "coming.." said Ghost, Ghost got up off the sofa and opened the door, he got jumped on by his German shepherd, Riley. "Hey I heard that you were back, I just took Riley out on a exercise route" said the woman, "thank you, I hope he's been good" said Ghost while standing back up, he grabbed a box and paid the lady for her work, the woman left and Ghost and Riley walked back together to the living room, "hey soap?" Said Ghost before walking back into the living room, "yea..?" Said soap, "you don't have a fear of dogs right" said Ghost, "no, why" said soap while looking at the door way, Ghost popped from behind the wall with Riley. "You have a dog?!" Said soap while sitting up intrigued, Riley went over to soap jumping up at him, sniffing him and licking him, "he likes you then" said Ghost while sitting down next to soap, Riley jumped up on the sofa next to Ghost laying his head on Ghosts lap, soap hugged Ghost while laying his head on Ghosts chest, falling asleep.

Soap and Ghost fell asleep on the sofa cuddling and keeping each other company, Riley, laid on the floor next to the sleeping men giving them space, they slept for a long time enjoying each others company.

-time skip-

Ghost woke up before soap and got up laying soap back down on the sofa, due to Ghost getting up, Riley got up and laid next to the peaceful soap, Ghost got a blanket and laid it over the two,  he stood there staring at them wondering how he got so lucky to be there with the things he loves the most.

Ghost went to his bedroom and sat on the bed,
He debated on how his life would be like in the future.

The thought of suicide has crossed his mind multiple times before

It happened again.
