Soap was in a meeting with captain price, laswell and a few other soldiers, "okay, so we need to advance to this" said soap, "what materials do we need?" Said price, "well, we probably need to move base, this one is getting old?" Said laswell, "or shall we just get new materials" said laswell again, a door closed behind the group, the group didn't look to see who it was, they just kept on discussing their plans, "I believe that we should-." Soap got cut off from someone putting their arms around his chests under his arms, soap jumped a little, Ghost was the one hugging soap, he laid his head on soaps shoulder/ back, soap fell into Ghosts embrace, although he had to continue the meeting, price gave soap a quite dirty look, but continued their meeting.
After the meeting soap and Ghost was left in the meeting room, "hey Simon.." said soap, "Hm.." Ghost let out a noise, "you okay?" Said soap, while turning around, "yea.." Ghost didn't want to say what was wrong he just wanted to be in soap's presence, soap picked Ghost up and placed him on the table, so soap was standing and Ghost was sitting on the table. Soap lifted up Ghosts mask and gave him a little peck on the lips, Ghost just laid his head on soaps shoulder, he tried not to cry although he did have tears falling down his face, he let out some sobs and soap just hugged him, and rubbed circles in Ghosts back, not talking just to comfort Ghost.
-time skip-
Soap and Ghost were in their bed cuddling, this day was something that Ghost would call an emotion day. Soap just was patient with Ghost, kept quiet most of the time, only saying a couple of words into Ghosts ear while Ghost laid his head down on soaps chest, "it's okay..." whispered soap, "I'm here... your okay.." said soap.
Ghost sobbed himself to sleep, his sobs calmed down after a while, soap just hummed a song while softly brushing his hand over Ghosts jawline.
Soap and Ghost cuddled all night, soap woke up a couple of times throughout the night to Ghost crying again but he always was Able to calm him down.
