Chapter 51

I think this was the first Monday morning ever that if woken up with a smile on my face, and I had Sheryl to thank for that. I felt like we got so much closer over this weekend, my feelings for her were growing and growing. When I was with Sam and Emily it was different, I didn't find Sam attractive at all and to be honest her personality wasn't that great either. With Emily.. Well god knows what I was thinking with Emily, biggest mistake I've ever made. Sheryl is different though, she's the first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about at night.. Damn I've got it quite bad!

"Krystel! I hope you're awake!"

Mum shouted through the door.

To think that only a week ago I was dreading going into school, now I was actually looking forward to it. Mostly because I get to see Sheryl though.

Getting out of bed I quickly made it up then jumped in a shower and got ready for my day at school. I didn't manage to see Sheryl because the bell rang just as I got to the gate.

At lunch time I went looking for the others, Justin was waiting in line for his food so I joined him.

"Hey Justin did you have a good weekend?" I smiled.

"It wasn't bad, what about you? What did you and Sheryl get up to?" He smirked and pointed to the macaroni handing his plate over.

"We didn't get up to anything, why would you think that?"

"Well you guys are always together so I just thought you would of hung out, but judging by your face and reaction you've made me think there's more to it" he was laughing.

"There's not more to it, I don't know what you're on about" I said but I could feel myself blushing so I knew he didn't believe me.

I quickly grabbed a sandwich and some chips and walked away from him to find the others. As soon as Sheryl seen me she smiled, that smile was honestly amazing. Her smile alone could probably make me fall for her. Justin came up right behind me and sat down smiling like an idiot.

"Why do you have that ridiculous grin on your face Justin?" Sheryl asked.

"No reason.. So did you have a nice weekend Sheryl?"

My face now felt like it was burning, why did I have to blush so easily! It really did annoy me. Sheryl looked at me then at Justin, I wondered what she was thinking. Maybe she thought I'd told him about our date.

"I had a great weekend thanks"

She smiled.

"Well I asked krys about her weekend and she went all red and stuff, I was thinking maybe you two finally got together" he nudged my arm laughing.

"Yeah it is about time you two get your act together.. It's painfully obvious that you both fancy each other" joey joined in.

"So two girls can't just be really good friends now? There's nothing to tell"

"The sexual chemistry between you two is so hot it even turns me on a little"

"Joey shut up! You little perv"

The guys laughed, obviously finding this very amusing.

"Krys what's up? You're very quiet!" Justin said turning the attention back to me.

"I'm just listening to how much crap you are talking.

It was like I could tell what Sheryl was thinking just by looking in her eyes, I knew she was finding this just as amusing as the guys secretly. She enjoyed making me blush and embarrassing me.

"I'm going to get a coffee, you coming Sheryl?"

"Yeah Sheryl, krys wants a 'coffee' " Joey winked.

Sheryl stood up to follow me "well if she wants a 'coffee' then that's what she'll get" She winked back.

I practically ran out the cafeteria, If it was anybody else I wouldn't of blushed but when it came to Sheryl I couldn't help it.

"So cute it's unbelievable" she smiled.

"Oh shut up! Glad you find it funny"

"They are only making jokes because we haven't told them"

"There's nothing to tell, we are not going out are we? We've been on one date"

"Yeah I know but would you date someone else?"

"What do you mean?" I asked confused.

"Well you know how some people go out and date a few people to see who they like.. Would you date someone else?"

"No because I like you.. And you're not allowed to date anyone either!" I said maybe a little too seriously.

"I don't want to date anyone babe, I'm making a point! Are you embarrassed about dating me?"

Embarrassed about dating her? Was she for real? I couldn't actually believe my luck that she liked me as much as I liked her. Anyone would be lucky to have Sheryl in my eyes.

"Don't be pathetic Sheryl, do you want me to tell them?"

"It's up to you" she smiled sweetly.

"I will when I find the right time"

After dropping krys off from school I headed back home, it was just nat and I tonight because dad had gone back to work. I felt sorry for nat, it must be hard being in a relationship with someone who was away so much. I suppose you would get used to it though.

When I got home we ordered a takeaway and chatted about things.

"So the date went well I take it?"

"Yeah it was an amazing night, I think I'm falling for her Nat"

"Wow.. Really?"

"Yeah, I think about her non stop"

"Do you think you'll tell your dad then?"

"Well it's not official or anything, we are just gonna wait for a while see what happens"

"Ok but if you want my opinion you should just go for it. You both obviously really like and care for each other"

I thought about what nat said and I wanted to tell my dad but didn't really think I had to unless we were both like together.

Did I really want to be in a relationship with a girl? I mean before krys this was never an issue, what was so special about krys that she made me think different about being with a girl. My phone started ringing so I answered in without looking.

"Hey sweetie"

"Oh hey mum how are you?

"I'm great. We are going away for a little break next week.. could you take time off?"

"Who's going? And how long?"

"Lori Derek me and hopefully you, what do you say?"

I suppose I could take a week off school, I could always log on if I needed to and maybe I'd get to know mum more. The more I thought about it the more I liked the idea, I quickly phoned dad and he agreed I could go.

Excitedly I text mum asking her where we were going and she said a log cabin. A break sounded really good but I would miss krys.

Pulling out my phone I gave her a call.

"Hey babe you ok?"

"Yeah you?"

"Mums asked me to go away for a few days, not until next week. But just thought I'd let you know"

"I'll miss you though"

"I'll miss you too, maybe this will be a good thing"

"How could it be a good thing?"

"Because I might just learn my true feelings for you"
