Chapter 56

Sheryl

Nobody had much planned for today before we left so I met up with Damon for lunch and had a chance to meet Brooke too. I'd packed everything the night before so I didn't have to worry about anything. They were already there when I arrived so I quickly went over to join them.

"Hey Sheryl, this is Brooke.. Brooke, Sheryl" Damon smiled.

Brooke smiled at me, she had a really friendly face, I was put at ease straight away. I thought I might feel a little nervous, because sometimes when you meet new people you do, don't you?

"Hi Brooke.. I've heard a lot about you, it's nice to meet you"

"You too, all good I hope?"

"Definitely.. This boy's got it bad for you" I smiled.

They both smiled at each other, it was so cute. You could tell how much they cared for each other.

"Even though you thought I was a perv when I tried talking to you" Damon laughed.

"Shut up Damon"

"Don't worry Sheryl, if a random guy started talking to me I'd think they same.. He does have that Pervy look about him, doesn't he?"

We both laughed as Damon pretended to be in a huff with us both.

"So did you enjoy your week up here?"

"Yeah I did actually, it didn't start out great but yeah it's been good, do you like here?"

"I think it's beautiful here but I prefer the town I live in, more shops and stuff"

"Typical girl" Damon whispered to himself.

We ordered some lunch and got to know each other a little better, they were both so easy to talk to. It was nice meeting friends when you went somewhere new. I'd more than likely never see Damon and Brooke again after today but you never know. I'd definitely keep in touch though Facebook, I knew I'd love to come back up here one day for sure.

"I love girls like you two.. You know girls that actually order proper food when your out like steak and burgers and stuff"

"I order whatever I want because I'm a pig" I laughed.

"Most girls are too obsessed with calories now, they order a salad and push it around their plate because they don't even like it"

"Calm down Damon" Brooke smiled.

"I'm just saying.. It annoys me"

We finished of our lunch and had another drink before I had leave, Brooke said she'd add me on Facebook and if I ever came back up she'd arrange to stay with Damon so we could do more. They were both such nice people and a really cute couple. I would actually come back up just to

Hang out with them. We said our goodbyes and I left to get back to the cabin.

On my way walking back I suddenly remembered I was going to see krys tonight and started grinning like an idiot. I would of have gave her a call but she was at school so I'd just have to wait. I took my phone out to send her a quick text and just as I did dad rang me.

"Hello father"

"Father?" He laughed "what time you leaving at?"

"Should be home by eight, will you be home?"

"Won't be home until Sunday, I take it you will have Krystel over tonight?"

"Yeah, that's ok isn't it?"

"Of course it is, Nat was going to go out tonight but didn't want to leave you by yourself, I told her Krystel would probably be staying over anyway"
