Chapter 52

Sunday night was now here and it was almost time to leave, I was really hoping this little break would bring me closer to my mum. Krys had been a little quiet with me all day, I knew she'd miss me because I was going to miss her too. It was only five days so it wasn't the end of the world or anything.

"I'll talk to you on webcam babe.. Five days will go really fast. Tell you what, how about we go on another date when I get back?"

"Yeah ok"

"Stop sulking like a baby"

I knew she wanted to smile but wouldn't let herself, walking over to where she was sitting on the end of my bed I leaned down and kissed her, her lips were so soft and kissable, I could quite happily kiss her all day and night. We both smiled as I pulled away..

"You're so hot krys"

"You are! I hope you have a nice time with your mum, I'll just miss you"

"I'll miss you too gorgeous. Well I think that's me all packed now, I'll drop you home on the way"

I was driving to my mums and leaving the car there, we were all going in Derek's car. I couldn't help but feel a little nervous, I still didn't know them very well so I hoped it wouldn't get awkward.

When I pulled up I seen Derek putting some bags in the car, I didn't really think much of him.. Maybe he was a really nice guy and I'd just judged him wrong, even though i was normally quite a good judge of character. Hearing my car door slam shut he noticed me and smiled, I smiled back and walked over to him.

"Hey Sheryl, you looking forward to getting away for a bit?"

"Yeah it should be fun" I smiled.

Hearing voices from behind me I turned around to see lori and mum, then I noticed somebody else behind them.. It was Lindsay. What the hell was she doing here? Mum didn't say she was invited.

"Hi sweetie you all ready? .. Oh you don't mind Lindsay tagging along do you?" She smiled putting her around Lindsay.

"Um no.. Course not" I lied.

I did mind, if I'd of known Lindsay was going to be coming I wouldn't of agreed to come along.

The two hour car journey was the longest two hours of my life, mum and Derek were silent and lori and Lindsay were giggling and talking about their friends. I was so glad when we eventually got there, the log cabin was quite big but I couldn't see much as it was quite dark out. Inside was lovely, this would be my dream home. The place was gorgeous, the big open fire place caught my eye straight away. It was so cosy, if krys was here this would have been perfect. There was three rooms, two doubles and one with two single beds, lori and Lindsay ran and picked a double room and obviously mum and Derek would have a double which left me with the two single beds, not that I minded.. I was just happy I got the room to myself. Grabbing my bag I took it up to my room and sat down, pulling my phone out my pocket I checked to see if I could get a signal, it wasn't the best but I had a little. I quickly sent krys a text..

I went back downstairs to say goodnight, everyone was going to bed now so I didn't feel bad about it.

Looking at the clock I tried to focus on the time, it was 10.15 so I got up and made my bed. When I got downstairs it was only mum there.

"Morning, is everybody still asleep?"

"Morning sweetie.. Lori and Lindsay have gone out for a walk and Derek's just getting ready.. Coffee?"
