Chapter 24

Krystel

I woke up the next morning cuddling into Sheryl, I heard my phone vibrate so I turned around to check it.

{Morning baby, fancy meeting up?}

It was Emily, I smiled to myself. I liked Emily, she didn't take things too seriously. She liked to have fun and did I. I rubbed my eyes and texted her back.

{sure, let me get sorted then i'll call u xx} I put my phone down and stared at the roof for a few minutes.

"Your sleep okay?" Sheryl asked making me jump. I didn't realise she was awake.

"You scared me! Yeah slept great, what about you?" I asked yawning.

"Me too! So what's your plans for today?" Sheryl asked sitting up, she looked beautiful in the morning, well she always looked great to me.

"Emily wants to meet up," I said. Everything went quiet for a good minute before Sheryl spoke.

"Oh cool well you better get going," she smiled. I felt a bit bad, I knew she wouldn't mind, Sheryl was so easy-going.

"I feel bad for just leaving you though."

"Don't be stupid, I'm pretty tired so might go back to sleep for a bit anyway."

I got ready and left within half an hour, that was a little awkward. Maybe I was imagining it, Sheryl probably just needs to catch up with her sleep. I went home got showered and changed then called Emily and arranged to meet her at the park. She was there waiting when I arrived, on her phone talking, she hung up when she noticed me coming though and smiled.

"Hey sexy," she said hugging me.

"Hi, you okay?" I asked.

"Better now you're here," She smiled. We talked for a few minutes then decided to go get a burger.

"Thanks for lunch Emily," I smiled looking at her, she was strumming her fingers on the table.

"Anytime, lets go for a drive," she said getting up. I followed her to the car and got in. We drove around for half and hour then she parked up.

"You know Krystel I'm starting to really like you. What kind of things do you like to do?" She asked.

"Um cinema, shopping, bowling, the usual things really."

"You're a gorgeous girl, you should try be a bit more adventurous," She smiled at me then leaned over and started kissing me. I kissed her back, she then started running her hand up my top. I pulled away from her, I didn't want to give her the wrong idea.

"What's wrong, babe?" She asked frowning. I didn't like her calling me babe the way I liked it when Sheryl did.

"I like you Emily, I just don't want to rush things."

"Life's too short Krystel, you want me and I want you. I will have you," She grinned.

"I'm sorry," I said quietly.

"It's ok baby, look I'll take you home now ok?" She started up the engine.

"We can still hang out, can't we?"

"Well I have some things to do but I'll call you later, and you can always text me," she said winking. The journey back to mine was in silence, I was glad just to get into my room and chill out. Emily probably thinks I'm a loser, she seems so cool and I'm just my boring little me. I texted Sheryl apologising for this morning then went for a bath.

After my bath I called Justin and we talked for about an hour, I was telling him about Emily and how I thought I should be more adventurous. He didn't really say much, it was mostly me doing the talking that made a change for Justin.

The next day in school I noticed Emily talking to Paige and Angela. They were all laughing about something. I didn't realise they were friends? I walked over to them.

"Hey Emily."

"Hey baby, you ok?"

"I'm good, you?" I asked looking at Angela, who was grinning.

"Angela was just talking about the party she's having at the weekend, do you wanna be my date?" She smiled sweetly. I might not like Angela but I did like Emily, I'd go if it meant being with her.

"Sure," I smiled.

"It'll be fun," said Angela.

The bell rang and I made my way to class. I think Emily is actually starting to like me, she can't just be using me because I haven't slept with her and she's not going on about it. Sheryl walked in and sat down next to me.

"Hey," I whispered.

"Hi," she said without looking at me. After class Sheryl looked at me.

"Why were you talking to Angela and Paige?" She said. She must have seen me in the hall.

"Oh I wasn't, I was talking to Emily. I didn't know she was friends with them," I smiled.

"Surely that's enough warning, Krys," she said picking up her things and left class. 'Enough warning'. Just because she's friends with them doesn't mean she's like them. At lunch I couldn't find Emily so I went and sat with the guys and Sheryl.

"Hey guys."

"Hey, where's Emily?" Nick asked.

"Not sure, we aren't actually together guys, just seeing what happens," I took a sip of my drink and glanced at Sheryl. She was looking right at me.

"You okay Sheryl?" I asked.

"Yeah I'm good" she smiled. I was trying to work out if she was in a mood or not. It was really hard to tell with her sometimes! I had history next lesson, I was daydreaming about things when I felt my phone. I got it out so the teacher didn't see.

{hey baby, u free tonight? I need to see you ;)}

{sorry I'm working :( we can do something tommorow though?xx}

{oh ok, yeah no worries}

After school I went home and got ready for work, I just kept myself busy until closing time. I decided to call Emily on my way home, it rang a few times before she answered.

{Hey sexy, what you doin'?} she answered. She sounded happy.

{Just finished work, what you doin'?}

{I'm just thinking of you, wishing you were here. God I want you so much babe.}

{Are you drunk?!} I asked laughing.

{No, not drunk. I better go, your voice is just driving me crazy.}

{Ok well I'll see you tommorow. Bye.}

{Bye.}

Well that was weird! She sounded weird. I headed home and went for a long hot shower. When I got out I had some dinner then went up to go to bed. I set my alarm on my phone then got a text. It was Sheryl. I smiled to myself.

{hey trouble, hope ur okay. Just a text to let u know I luv ya!xxx}

Aww, that was sweet. I was grinning like an idiot now. I texted her back.

{aww ur so cute. I luv u more sher xxx} I fell asleep just after that text.
