I must of checked my phone about a million times and it was only 10.15am, yesterday was horrible.. I hadn't heard from Sheryl all day. I know it was only a day but it wasn't like her at all. After about five texts I gave up trying, her phone was going straight to voicemail too. I couldn't help but be a little worried, it was more than likely that Sheryl was just busy having a good time though and I was over reacting. Yesterday had honestly felt like the longest day of my life though, one day not talking to her felt like a million years.

"Has she text you yet?" Nick whispered.

"Nope"

"Don't worry, she'll get in touch soon"

Just as nick said that I felt my phone vibrate, I couldn't of pulled it out my pocket any faster but I had to be careful the teacher didn't see it either. As soon as I seen Sheryl's name on my screen I couldn't hide the grin on my face.

{hey gorgeous, my phone had no signal yesterday.. Sorry :( I hope you missed me as much as I missed you xxxx}

{hi :)) oh I think I missed you more.. I can't go a day without talking to you.. Is that normal? Lol glad you're ok xxxx}

{no but you're not normal anyway :p I'll give you a call at lunchtime babe xxxx}

Of course it was the signal, she was practically in the middle of no where, it was surprising that she got a signal at all. I couldn't wait to hear her voice, I'd known for a while now that I fancied Sheryl but I was starting to realise that my feelings for her were getting stronger. I'd never liked someone like this before, if someone went a day without talking to me it was fine and I didn't think much of it. Sheryl doesn't talk to me for a day and I think I'm going to go crazy! Surely that isn't normal, Is it?

At lunch time I didn't bother going to the cafeteria with the guys I just got a drink and went outside to enjoy the sun while I waited for Sheryl to call, as soon as I sat down my phone started to ring..

"Hey Sheryl"

"Hey baby, you ok? I missed you so much yesterday"

It was so good to hear her voice, she had a sexy voice.. And she called me baby! She'd never called me that before, i liked it though.. It gave me butterflies.

"You called me baby" I grinned.

"Yes, I did.. Is that ok?"

"Course it is! I like it! What did you get up to yesterday then?"

"Well they were all hungover so I went abseiling with Damon, you don't mind do you?"

I must admit I was a teeny tiny bit jealous but that was just me being stupid, I trusted Sheryl completely. It was so nice to have somebody that you could actually trust with your life.

"No I don't mind at all, you can do what you want Sheryl. So did you like it?"

"I loved it! I'll take you some time. In fact I was thinking, this place is lovely and if it was you dad an nat that I came with I'd be having a great time. If love to take you somewhere like this for a little break"

"You're so sweet.. Are you not having a good time with them then?"

"Not really.. I came back last night and they were having a drink so I sat with them, I don't think Lori likes me very much and Lindsay hates me. She tried to make me feel stupid for being a waitress"

"What a bitch! Does she even have a job?"

"No she doesn't, but she wouldn't lower her standards apparently. Oh and she kept calling my mum mum, that pissed me off too"
